Looking to book with points and traveling with infant. How does this work?

Looking to book a business class Aer Lingus flight (through Alaska) from IAD to DUB and back (obviously 2 one-way tickets). We will have a 8 month infant and it cannot figure out how to book this. Does anyone have experience with this? It looks like you might need to book the adult tickets then call and get a lap infant, but is the 10% based off each one-way flight price or the RT price? Thanks in advance!

How much do you budget to spend on your kid(s)?

My wife (26F) and I (30M) are about to have our first kid in January (yay!) and I am trying to figure out how much to budget for next year. I know I can go on some of the parenting subs on Reddit, but given we are higher earners and might splurge a bit more on our kids, I wanted to see what a realistic number is. We wont need to move into a house and most of the startup costs (furniture, stroller, etc.) is already paid for so we wont need to worry about that. Just more so the ongoing costs.

Edit: I should also mention that my wife will be staying at home so we daycare also shouldn't be too much of an expense (if anything at all).

What is the best way to buy Saturday tickets day of?

We have Friday and Saturday tickets, but we were thinking of buying Saturday tickets day of. Im not sure how it would work with it being wristbands rather than tickets. What's the best way to go about it or just avoid entirely?

Would you do this as a contender?

Ppr start 10. I'm firmly the second best team, assuming JT continues down his path, i would be neck and neck with the other guy. My team on the second picture. I know Reddit hates Kyren but he is a good player though JT is a pretty big upgrade.

What is Oronde worth at this point?

A guy reached out to me and asked if I was interested in Oronde, which I'm not really but I think he will take pretty much any draft pick. Would you trade a 2028 3rd for him? The other issue is I would have to drop a player. It would probably be Jauan but is Oronde worth effectively Jauan and 2028 3rd?

Why is everyone so down on Hurts?

I just saw 2 YT videos where they called hurts a fade. The Eagles objectively had a down year and he still finished as QB8. With a new system and a potential bounce back, why would he be a fade?

Would you drop Jeudy for Kennan in dynasty?

Pretty much what the title says. Is there any upside to Jeudy getting back to usable or is KC and Boston pretty much taking over?

Contractor recommendations

Hi all, we are looking to get some work done at our house and wanted to reach out to the community to see if you had any recommendations for a contractor?  The projects are not too crazy, looking to finish up part of our basement and convert a half bath into a full bath.  Potentially also re-do the master bathroom. Any recommendations are appreciated!

How important is it to be close to family?

I am not sure if this is even the right subreddit for this question, but we are soon to be first time parents (yay!). We are currently 60 minutes away from my parents and any family really. 60 minutes isn't that far, but a lot of people tell us its nice to be closer. The issue is, we just bought a house 2 years ago (almost exactly) so the process of selling and buying another house would like lose us a decent amount of money. We have a fairly high household income but is it worth spending the money to live just 30 minutes closer? Or is it better to wait it out a bit then move in 3-5 years? I guess we are just unsure of how valuable being 30 minutes closer is. Any advice or insights is greatly appreciated!

Is the Cyrus Allen hype real or just another preseason darling?

He is sitting on my waiver wire and could drop any of the following for him: Njoku, July, Delp, Black, Diggs, Caleb Douglas, and Claiborne. Are any of these worth the drop to pick him up? I also have Rice so it doesnt feel great picking up another Chiefs WR.

Worth it to give up depth at RB?

I would be receiving the 2nds. One is early/mid and the other is mid/late. My other RBs are Jeanty/Hall/Kyren/Tracy and some flier rookies. Im more than likely a top 3 contender and I know everyone is down on Chuba, but is it worth it to give up depth at the RB position?

Where does the 2027 rookie draft rank compared to other drafts?

I have only been playing dynasty for a couple years now so I dont have a lost of historical knowledge on other drafts, but since 2020, where is the 2027 draft ranking? Ive been paying attention since the 2024 rookie draft and although there were quite a few busts, the hype going into it was high. Where does talent pool rank?

Might be an overpay for Kyren, but want your thoughts

1st is likely late (mine) and 2nd is early. I know Kyren is a sell but given my depth, I figured it would set me up to firmly be a top 2 team.

I was sent this and originally declined but now reconsidering. Should I take it?

Second picture is my team. The pick he asked for was mid but I am going to try and make it late. I feel a Ladd breakout will set me up better than solid seasons from Brown and Flowers could that could be me overeating my team.

He originally asked for a first that will probably be mid, but seeing if we can make it a late 1st. Team on second picture

Would you trade a 2027 1st for Javonte with this team?

Verbal agreement for any 2027 1st for Javonte. I have 2 late 1sts (including my own) that I could offer him. According to fantasy sites him and I have the 2 best teams so it would give my team more depth while weakening his. Worth it?

Everything else equal, do you tend to hold your own 1st for insurance?

I am looking to make a 1:1 trade that has me trading a 1st. I have 2 late first, one of them being mine. Most sites have me being slightly better than the other 1st for the 2026 season, but does it make sense to hold onto mine in case shit hits the fan or still send the later pick?

Which rookie TE would you rather have between Delp and Joly?

They are probably nothing burgers so pretty low stakes, but which do you think has a better shot of being something?
