My dad gave me a box of his tapes to play on an old cassette player when I was probably 10-12 years old, one of the tapes had a song on it that Ive tried to find for YEARS.

It must have been made in the 90s, but possibly in the 80s, it sounded Ballard like, and she was, from what I can remember in the chorus about earth, fire, maybe wind, something about protection and something about a female. Im absolutely certain she was mentioning the elements. It was an emotional song, not a “fun one”.

Im getting to the point where I want to sell this car because of the self braking it does when reversing.

I have to reverse past a couple of tight objects when parking on the drive, and unless I am going so so so slowly, it will slam in the brakes thinking I’m going to hit something.

It scares the crap out of me, the kids, the dog, even the neighbours turn around if they are outside.

I have never hated a “feature” so much in a car, and if I cannot find a way to permanently turn it off, the car is gone.

Hasn’t said any of his lines while playing, is there a setting I need to change?

Just looking for some advice or if the situation is as it is.

We have been given out notice that the tenancy will not be renewed, giving us 3 months to find somewhere new.

No issues with that, but I did ask if we found somewhere beforehand, as I don’t want to risk not having a home for our two children, could we leave earlier, they have said unless we want to pay for the remaining months, no, they wont let us leave earlier if the opportunity arose to secure a new home, potentially hindering our search.

Do I have any leeway on this in any sort of rules I don’t know about, simply because rental properties are hard to find at the moment, only 6 properties within 3 miles of our current one and non of which fit for purpose. Is this as case of its not their problem and welcome to rental property life?
