Replacing gazebo in windy area

Replacing gazebo in windy area

Our house is up high and we have replaced the gazebo canopy 4 times in 12 years. It has either been shredded or blown away during high wind. We take it down during windy season and try to when we have storms, but it always ends up gone.

If I were to replace the entire gazebo with one which has a solid top, would that be a concern given the wind? I picture it just ripping right out of the deck (deck boards are in great shape).

Anyone have experience with this?

Edit - yes the gazebo frame is bolted down. That's not the problem, I'm talking about the canvas canopy top.

What could this possibly be all about?

What the hell am I looking at?

The side-steps or whatever they're called were also covered in rope and zip ties on both sides as well.

Permanent stamp value & oversized lettermail

I need to mail an oversized lettermail packet within Canada. I see on the Canada Post website it says that the cost is $2.61 given it's weight (under 100g).

Am I correct in thinking that a permanent stamp value is $1.24, therefore 2 permanent stamps would not be enough to cover postage?

Mana distribution question

You can see the balance of mana distribution above. This is with a number of dual lands, 8 Islands and 5 Plains. If I want my production color ratio to match my costs, I would need to go to 12 Islands and 1 Plain.

Is this worth doing? At what point is the ratio of colors "close enough" and when should I be looking to more closely align them?

I see some evidence that the Time Lapse 1 FPS Night Vision parking more provides excellent clarify when recoding parked footage at night. My question is, how would parked footage during the day look with this mode enabled? I'd like to set it and forget it, and not having to swap parking mode settings twice a day to match the light conditions.

I was throwing a hard (plastic? Nylon?) ball around in my backyard with my 5 month old Goldendoodle. I threw a hard grounder for her to chase but it took a wierd bounce off of a rock and hit her in the side, quite hard. I wouldn't want to be hit as hard as it was. I would say it hit somewhere between mid-body and her hip.

She didn't make a noise, but did act really surprised then laid down.

This was an hour ago. She seems down, but otherwise normal. Eating/drinking. She's having a nap right now.

I've pressed on her body with my hands and she isn't showing any signs of tenderness. No yelping or physical reaction to me doing this.

I feel so bad and am terrified that maybe there's some internal injury, but she doesn't seem too phased. It was a hard hit though.

Should I take her for an examination or just monitor her?

I'd like to install a Dongar Pro dashcam adapter on the wife's 2024 CX-30 GS, but the Dongar website uses the American trim levels in their compatibility charts, not Canadian trims.

Does anyone know if it would work with her GS? It does have a sensor on the back for which I assume is for auto-dimming.
