Im making a Bolide tune for street racing, and Ive always been confused about the debate for and against drifting being faster, so i tested it with the more notoriously driftable car in beamng, the frist run is the bolide in 4th gear doing a 4 wheel drift (to the best of my ability) and i got approximately 1.2G in cornering, the second run is the bolide in 4th gear doing a full grip turn (to the best of my ability) and i gor approximately 1.1 to 1.15G in cornering, Im trying to make the tune as street legal looking as possible so im not adding aero to the front sorry

Ive got weak long arms and i needed a more ergonomic shifter, so instead of spending 500 dolars on a professional rally style shifter kit i just extended the cable linkages and raised the shifter knob up to the steering wheel, its FWD and it torque steers so i like to keep both hands on the wheel. if any of yall have done something similar i would love a word on it

Im working on pimpinng my ride, no particular reason, and im currently working on a shifter modification, what you're seeing is me extending the linkage to reduce the amount of movement to shift gears, and ive done this so i can later raise the shifter knob near the steering wheel for more efficient shifting.

Mind the jank, this is only a draft and I will remodel the whole shifter assembly, I came up with this design on the spot and it works great for now, zipties and sheet metal do a good job, so why would you spend hundreds of dolars on a professional set? I never understood the pimping community going all out and spending a bunch for this stuff, ive been watching grind hard plumbing co alot and they inspired me to make my own banging subwoofer (panels are literally falling off the car), this is just a QOL for me, i have long weak arms.

update, the tow trucked my car meow. Joey brought it to the service station so he could work on it, the frornt suspension is fine actually but re need to do a bunch of plumbing to fix the intercooler and radiator after that bash bar crumpled, we decided to take out the rear suspension so we can bash it back up and hammer the chassis into shape. Uncle came to pick me up anyways and fuckin hell he brought a V8 with him fr some god forsaken reason, so i guess im riding in the back with the tools, wish me luck, how did he even get it in there.

I did well in the hairpins with a 1 second lead, but i ran slicks today and lost time on the ice, anyway grim reaper comes up my ass on the last corner and i buckle a wheel trying to recover, but he hits me again into the fence. I dont have beef with the locals but ive got a car to repair, names pls.

I did a bloody good job tuning my rock crawler and it turned out to only be any good for sand rally, i tried baja for a while and my favorite baja vehicle rn if a bolide with sand wheels, very fun, anyways i got way more angle on rocks using drag tires compared to rock crawling tires, is this just me? ive never watched a rock crawling speedrun
