What's the consensus on alone time?

just married (wahoo!) and now planning to add a puppy into our lives within the next year or two (i'm very type a, so I need lots of research and planning time, haha). I've always loved iggys, but now that i'm seriously considering a puppy, i've fallen IN LOVE. We have 2 extremely spoiled and high maintenance cats and I think one of these babies could fit nicely into our lives. The only worry I have is the mixed opinions on how long they can be left alone. I work 4 days a week, and on those days the puppy would most likely be alone from 7:30/8am until 3:30/5:30pm. Now doggy daycare 1x per week seems doable, but I worry about the other 2 days. Can they truly never be left alone for that duration of time?
My parents do live nearby my work so it's not completely out of the question to drop a dog off with my parents dogs for some company, but that opens up a different level of anxiety of the puppy's fragility 😅

All this to say, what's the general consensus on leaving your pup home alone? Obviously crated (or something similar- we have a perfect 'doggy space' under our stairs).

7am reservation or skip black sand beach?

So I somehow missed the black sand beach reservations for our honeymoon (and mama's fish house- i'm a FAILURE) and now the only spots available are 7-10am. We are also planning to do the nearby Gyrocopter experience. I'm not really keen on going straight to the beach then doing the road 'backwards' so do we just miss out on the black sand beach? Some people say it's the highlight of their trip so I hate to miss out if it's something we NEED to do but we'd also need to be on the road by about 4 am, lol and miss the scenery and stops along the way. I've seen doing it the opposite way is much less beautiful. What would you do?

What would you take for a week on the beach?

Spray tanning for my wedding Thursday. Getting to hawaii sunday. I'm doing NOTHING to preserve a tan- i'm swimming, hiking, all the things. I'll just reapply 1-2x throughout the week. I was considering bondi sands ultra dark+ top up with the loving tan 10 min mask?

[Misc] Anyone develop microabrasions/spots like this?

So I have these microspots on my neck and chest. They are always there, though they're only visible as the tiny black specks whenever I am spray tanned (assuming these grab onto bronzer/DHA like crazy). They are extremely small and consistently irritated, whether 1 am using tanning products or not. When I scrub them in the shower they feel like tiny little abrasions of the skin. They go from my chest to my collarbones/neck area. I can almost pick them off like small scabs, but the spots don't heal and will form the tiny scabs again. Literally no idea what it could be. Considering a salicylic body wash or glycolic acid body wash.
I do not get sun exposure on this area, sunscreen frequently, moisturize the area.

Flat sheet recommendations

Looking for a backing for my bed sized quilt. I planned on ordering a flat sheet but the quality on most of them just seems blah. Any go to brands you prefer to work with? Attaching my block so this doesn't get lost!

Incorporating our favorite quote into our wedding

Thought you all may enjoy this & might be able to offer some good ideas. My fiancé and I listened to and finished the series together earlier this year. We loved it so much it's one of our main topics of discussion, haha. The quote " This is not the end. I loved you before I ever met you. I will love you until the sun dies. And when it does, I will love you in the darkness." is absolutely our favorite, so much so that we are incorporating it into our wedding day. I am quilting the wall hanging pictured above & have also had my wedding ring engraved. How should I gift my fiance with something with the same quote? I considered cuff links but didn't know if it would be too wordy.

Anyway, hope you all enjoy! ❤️

Kyleena- weird muscle pain

1.5 years with kyleena and I swear I get the most random side effects. This started post insertion and usually happens around the time of my period, but can happen randomly. It's a weird ab/muscle pain? It feels as if there's a muscle attached to the iud and runs up to my belly button then ribs. It feels as if someone is literally tugging that muscle completely straight. The pain mostly pulls right above my uterus/above my belly button and then occasionally spreads all the way up to my ribs. It's always around the time of my period and I just have no idea what could possibly be causing that?

Bala staining- is she done for?

As you can tell... she's well loved. EVERY mark on this bad boy immediately became permanent. This is freshly cleaned with a vinegar based spray (only thing that deodorizes). I've tried dish soap, mat cleaner at various studios, etc. Just wondering if there's anything else I can try before I accept the dirtiness 🫶🏻

Kyleena Cramps

One day, I'll sit down and write a post about my year with Kyleena and how i'm counting down the days until my wedding is over and I can have it removed. But today is not that day, I just wanted to talk about the CRAMPS with my kyleena. I always had very quick and easy periods with mild cramping. When I had my IUD inserted, I had the most horrendous cramps. Now, every time I get a period (about every month and a half or so) I get those same insertion cramps 2 weeks before and for the duration of my period (usually lasts 10 LONG days). I haven't seen many posts about this so I was just curious if anyone else had this experience? I feel a ton of pressure on my bladder/rectum for about 3 weeks as well. Overall so much more uncomfortable than any pre-IUD period and I am terrified once it's removed it won't go back to normal.

Sony ZV-1 or ZV-10E (or zv-10e ii if I HAVE TO)

It's my wedding year and I have NO idea which to pick. I'd like to have better than my iphone pictures and be able to vlog my wedding, bachelorette, hawaii honeymoon, etc. The 2 seem comparable so I can't decide which is better? I've also seen the ZV-E10 ii, but it needs to be significantly better for me (really my fiance) to spring for the price.
