Trailer lights wiring?

I’m looking at a 2016 Highlander XLE for sale. It has an aftermarket hitch but I can’t seem to find the trailer lights wiring. Do all Highlanders come with trailer lights wiring or do I have to figure out how to add the wiring it myself? The owners manual seems to indicate that there is a plug for the wiring behind the trim piece but I can’t find it.

Replace captains chairs with bench seat

We are looking to buy a 2016 Highlander XLE trim and want the bench seat for our dog and extra seating but not finding much available right now with lower miles. I see some Limited trim models for sale but they have the captains chairs which we don't want. I see bench seats available at salvage yards nearby. Could we theoretically easily remove the captains chairs and put in the bench seat? Would it bolt in no problem?

Is 2016 Honda Pilot Touring w/ 9 speed transmission reliable?

We test drove a 2016 Honda Pilot Touring AWD 9 speed and are considering buying it but I first want to research about this vehicle to see if if is reliable for many more years. I know more about Toyotas. Can you let me know your thoughts about this or point me where I can learn more about this engine and transmission reliability and required maintenance? Is the 2016 9 speed trans reliable or not? Should I disable VCM with a muzzler? Would keep it for another 100,000 miles or more.

  • 2016 Honda Pilot Touring 3.5L AWD
  • 107,000 miles
  • 9 speed transmission
  • fully loaded with all options
  • in good shape
  • $20,000
  • no open recalls
  • service records: timing belt & wp replaced at 75k at Honda, transmission serviced at 44k and 75k. Routine serviced about every 10k

Recommendations on newborn carrier?

What carrier brand/model would you recommend for a newborn?

Researching for my wife on newborn things and found this sub. I did a quick glance at the wiki, learned some things. My wife is looking for a baby carrier for our 2 week old baby that she can use to put the baby in and do tasks around the house hands free.

She tried out the Mebien ring sling and couldn’t get the fit and head support right and got frustrated and gave up. Then we bought a Baby Bjorn Mini carrier on FB marketplace and she is saying this isn’t going to fit baby because the legs are too small to fit into the leg holes. I got this carrier because it looked to have good neck support, but seems to be too big for 2 week old baby and reading this sub wiki is saying they don’t recommend this carrier anyways. So, I’m all open for ideas on something else to try!

I saw Ergobaby Embrace recommended on wiki but looked at pictures of it and looks like it doesn’t have much head and neck support from what I can see (I could be wrong).

Spindrift Ginger Lime Mule is a unique spicy one

This isn’t my favorite flavor, but is an interesting one to try out. I’m beginning to like Spindrift more than other brands of sparkling water because they use real juice in them as opposed to most other brands that have “natural essence flavors”.

Infant car seat recommendations - and should I buy one with a drop leg?

I've done some research but still trying to figure out what car seat to get for our newborn. Small car, would like to get one that is flame retardant chemical free. Ideally a seat that will click into a stroller that I'm also trying to figure out which one. Uppababy Cruz is a contender as I see lots of recommendations. Would get the stroller with bassinet or ability to lay flat also.

Consumer Reports recommendations took me to: Chicco KeyFit Max ClearTex, Uppababy Aria, Clek Liing, Maxi-Cosi Mico Lux+, Peg Perego Primo Viaggio 4-35 Lounge.

Wondering should I only consider ones with a drop leg and anti-rebound bar for extra safety? The Chicco KeyFit Max is a great price but doesn't have a load leg (but does have anti-rebound bar). The Clek Liing looks very quality and checks all my boxes but it is high price. I read some things in this sub on fit issues with Uppababy Aria.

I do see a used 2020 model Clek Liing with 2 bases for sale on FB marketplace for $100. Almost tempted to buy that but I know its risky and probably not recommended buying used.

Let me know your thoughts! Should I only narrow down my search to ones with a load leg? What do you recommend from my list or any other car seats you would recommend that I haven't considered yet?

DJI N3 goggles out of stock and backyard drone suggestions

I’ve been out of flying for some years but thinking about getting some new gear and getting back into it. I’m thinking like a DJI O4 lite with 85mm for backyard cruising. What drones do you suggest? And I was trying to find the DJI N3 goggles but they seem to be sold out everywhere I look here in USA online stores. Is this like a US customs banning DJI products situation or why are they out of stock? At this point I’m wondering if I should just wait for O5 system to come out and just fly my old DJI OG air unit/Vista drones in the meantime.

How much more life on my timing belt?

I’m at 100,000 miles / 11 years on this AirCabinMan timing belt kit. I know the recommended change interval is every 90,000 miles. Just wondering if I can delay this job until later. How long have you run your timing belt before replacing?

Get your Toyota OEM parts at PartSouq or Amayama and save

https://preview.redd.it/l3jobsl1uz0h1.png?width=2824&format=png&auto=webp&s=19e3e65a6f492137b91d821ecbd5d2d1e4a221f0

I recently bought some Toyota OEM parts at Partsouq.com and saved $110 compared to https://parts.ourismantoyotaofrichmond.com

($238 shipped + $48 import duty ) - $36 hyundai parts = $250 toyota parts. Compared to $362 at Ourisman. Total time from order placement to delivery was 7 days.

Shop around. Sometimes parts are cheaper at Toyota dealership websites and sometimes they are cheaper elsewhere, with shipping and weight considerations also. The last couple orders of lightweight OEM parts I've gotten from PartSouq (shipped from Dubai UAE), or Amayama.com (shipped from Japan or UAE) and when checking they were considerably cheaper than I can buy the OEM parts in the USA (Ourisman). The Amayama order took about 14 days for delivery.

EDIT: for good parts diagrams and info of part numbers I use https://www.japan-parts.eu/ and refer to Timmy the Toolman videos for part numbers and repair instructions also.

Do I need new filters or do these have more life left in them? They still look good to me. They are a year and a half old. I’m placing an order for bags and got curious about these filters and when they are needed. Thanks.
