I posted a day ago that my solo project was going on hiatus. Not even 24 hours now that I go back and check 😭😭

My main and only amp I used for guitar on said project, my glorious 1980 Peavey Mace fried because my dumbass forgot to plug a speaker cable in when I moved it. I decided to switch to combos and began looking. I found this the same day, and I offered my MicroKorg, Hardwire Metal pedal, and Standard 260 non m.v. version. He said he needed time to think on it but agreed, and we met today (the next day). 50 bucks cash sold the deal, I still can’t beleive it man.

Idk why im posting this tbh. He blocked me after the whole ordeal.

Context: thrifted these today, they’re currently my fav pants and they fit damn near better than my Polars!! Couldn’t find a tag, tried a reverse image search on the flannel color specifically and all I found was a listing for like $210 Canadian calling them “extremely rare” 😂

1980 Peavey Mace, sounds absolutely massive now.

Have a pair of Sovteks I could replace the Sylvanias with if yall think it’s a good idea! This is my favorite amp ever and im really happy tube swaps are easy!! This amp is fixed bias non adjustable, and set super cold iirc. I do plan on getting a fully matching set whenever I can, right now I just wanna record though 😭

Was it actually mint? Probably a long shot posting this here but I seriously almost drove 100 miles out and 100 back to grab this thing, Kyuss used it 🙏
