Splash Siege is an arcade game with a seeded daily challenge (same run for everyone, leaderboard resets daily)

Splash Siege.

You shoot water balloons out of the sky before they grow a garden to the top of the screen. Play: https://www.reddit.com/r/SplashSiege/comments/1uumrll/splash_siege_shoot_the_water_balloons_before_the/

The part that was fun to build: the Daily Challenge. Every player worldwide faces the identical run each day. Daily boards have a 7-day expiry, so they clean themselves up.

My first game (Ledger Quest) taught accounting https://www.reddit.com/r/ledger_quest_dev/s/E0sy6T8C2l while this one's pure arcade. Feedback on either the game or the approach welcome.

Welcome to Splash Siege: how to play + today's challenge

Splash Siege is an arcade game that runs inside Reddit posts. The pinned game post below is live, tap it and play. SplashSiege

The short version:

- Shoot balloons before they land. Landed water grows plants.

- A plant reaching the top ends your run. Brown plants are the dangerous ones.

- Grab saws (3 cuts each) and walk over a plant to cut it. No saw? Shots chip brown plants down slowly.

- Chain pops without missing for 2x/3x score. Cutting a plant at the last second is a CLUTCH +100.

Daily Challenge: everyone gets the identical run each day (resets at midnight UTC) with its own leaderboard. Post your score and rank in the daily thread.

Found a bug or have an idea? Comment here, I read everything and update the game regularly.

👋 Welcome to Ledger Quest — learn accounting by playing

Hi, I'm the developer (and a CPA with 30+ years in accounting). Ledger Quest is a free game that runs right inside a Reddit post — no download, no signup.

**How to play:** open the pinned game post, tap Start, and work through six levels:

- ⚔️ Debit Dojo — normal account balances

- 📋 Statement Sorter — balance sheet vs. income statement

- 🧮 Number Ninja — net income, COGS, margins

- 📝 Journal Entry — which account gets debited/credited

- 📊 Ratio Rumble — current ratio, D/E, ROA, TIE

- ⚡ Speed Blitz — mixed rapid-fire

You earn XP, build combo streaks, and compete on a global leaderboard against every other player.

**Who it's for:** accounting students, anyone prepping for the FAR section, bookkeepers brushing up, or anyone who's ever mixed up a debit and a credit.

**Feedback wanted.** This game gets updated based on what players say. Too easy? Too hard? Found a bug? Want a topic covered (cash flow, adjusting entries, depreciation methods)? Comment here or on the game post — I read everything.

I built a free accounting quiz game that plays inside Reddit

I'm an accountant (30+ years) and I made a free game to practice the fundamentals, debits/credits, journal entries, ratios, and statements, across six quick levels with a leaderboard. No sign-up, no links out once you're in it; it plays right inside the post.

You can try it here: Ledger-Quest

Happy to take feedback or fix anything that looks off.

The Garden of Earthly Delights by Hieronymus Bosch

A lot of people today describe The Garden of Earthly Delightsit as surreal or almost psychedelic. However, would someone living around 1500 have seen it that way? What parts of the painting would have been obvious to them that might not be as clear to us now? Interested in hearing how art historians approach that question.

Made a free FAR practice tool that explains each answer, looking for honest feedback from people sitting FAR

Hi all

I've been building a CPA FAR practice tool and I'm at the stage where I need honest feedback from people actually studying for FAR.

Every question comes with a full worked solution along with the reasoning, the formula, and why each wrong option is the trap people actually fall for. Right now it covers four pain areas, financial statements, revenue recognition (ASC 606), leases (ASC 842), and income taxes (ASC 740) plus a timed mock-exam mode that scores you by area.

There's a free 6-question sample, no signup, runs right in your browser:

https://trendsintech.github.io/ledger-quest/

If you try it and something looks wrong or unclear, there's a "Send feedback" button on the results screen, please use it and include the question ID so I can actually fix it.

How do I move an approved app from unlisted to public listing?

My app was just approved and published as unlisted (ledger-quest@0.0.5). Right now I can only install it on subreddits I moderate.

I want it to be publicly listed in the app directory so other mod teams can find and install it themselves. What's the current process for that?

Is there a setting on the app page, a minimum number of installs, or a separate review I need to request? Anything I'm missing would help. Thanks.
