Trying to rebuild my life, one step at a time.

I don’t really know why I’m writing this, but I guess I just want to be honest for once.

When I was in school, I had a crush on a girl, but my family moved because of my dad’s job before I could tell her how I felt. Years later, after finishing school and my diploma, I met her again. Somehow, I got lucky enough to ask her out, and she said yes.

About a year ago, someone very close to me passed away. I didn’t know how to deal with it, so I shut everyone out. My parents, my girlfriend, my friends, everyone. That lasted for around eight or nine months.

Eventually, my girlfriend told me, “I thought you were a good person, but I was wrong.” Those words broke me, and after that, she left. Looking back, I understand why she felt hurt. I also said things to her that I deeply regret, things I wish I could take back.

Since then, some of my friends have walked away too, and my relationship with my parents became complicated.

Right now, I’m trying to rebuild my life from the ground up. My first goal is to make things right with my parents because they deserve better from me. After that, I hope I can apologize to my friends. Whether they forgive me or not is their choice, but I want to own my mistakes.

As for my ex, I don’t know if I’ll ever have the courage to face her again.

I’m not posting this for sympathy. I just made this account a few days ago because I realized how lonely I’ve become. I guess I’m just looking for genuine people to talk to and maybe make a few real friends along the way.

If you’ve read this far, thank you. I hope life is treating you a little better than it has been treating me lately.

Would you trust someone in this situation?

So this started about 10 days ago. I had a crush on a girl back in school, and we were friends, but after school we completely lost touch for around four or five years while I finished my diploma and started college. A few days ago she replied to one of my Instagram stories and somehow found my new Instagram account, even though I haven’t shared it with anyone. The account is public, so I guess that’s how. We started talking again, and after a few conversations she asked me to meet her. We went out to eat, had a great time, and from my perspective the date went really well. She even kissed me.

Two days later, one of my friends told me she has had a boyfriend for almost three years. I asked her about it, and she said their relationship hasn’t been going well, she doesn’t really like him anymore, and then she told me she would break up with him and become my girlfriend if I wanted. That’s the part I can’t understand. If she wanted to leave him, why didn’t she end the relationship first before going on a date with me and kissing me? If she’s willing to do that to someone she’s been with for three years, what’s stopping her from doing the same thing to me someday? This is also the second confusing dating situation I’ve been in because I posted here before about another girl who ghosted me after a few dates. I honestly don’t know what to do. Am I overthinking this, or is this a huge red flag? I’d really appreciate your opinions.

Anime Fans of Ahmedabad, Which Series Would You Love to See on Premium Streetwear?

Hey everyone!

I’m working on a personal project related to anime streetwear, and before designing the first collection, I wanted to get some opinions from fellow anime fans in Ahmedabad.

If you could choose one anime to inspire a line of T-shirts, hoodies, and sweatshirts, what would it be?

I’m not looking to promote anything or sell anything here—I genuinely want to know what the anime community would love to wear.

Just comment the anime name you’d be most excited to see on premium-quality apparel. I’ll use the community’s feedback while designing the first collection.

Looking forward to seeing your picks! 🔥

My first client ever refused to pay. Two years later, it became one of the best lessons I could’ve learned.

About two years ago, I landed my first freelance client.

He was from Surat and wanted a website for his business. I was excited because, for the first time, someone was actually willing to pay me for something I had built.

We agreed on the scope, timeline, and price. I poured everything I had into that project. Late nights, countless revisions, and way more effort than I was charging for.

When I showed him the final website, he loved it.

His response was something like, “This is exactly what I wanted.”

I sent the final invoice.

Then everything changed.

Replies became slower. Calls went unanswered. Eventually he told me he didn’t think the website was worth the agreed price anymore and refused to pay the remaining amount.

At the time, I was frustrated. I questioned my skills and wondered if freelancing was even worth it.

Looking back, that client probably taught me more than any successful one ever could.

After that experience, I started using contracts, taking larger upfront payments, defining the project scope clearly, and learning when to say no.

Fast forward two years.

I don’t freelance anymore.

I run a small web agency now, work with multiple clients, and have systems in place that make situations like that much less likely.

It’s funny how the client who never paid ended up giving me one of the most valuable lessons of my career.

Sometimes your worst client ends up becoming your best teacher.

Anyone else have a nightmare first client story?

I don’t know if I’m overthinking this or if this is just how life works.

A few months ago I met a girl online. We started talking almost every day. Nothing was official, nothing romantic at first, but somehow she became a part of my routine. We’d send random updates, joke about stupid things, and somehow those conversations became the best part of my day.

Then one day I had to leave for a trek where there was almost no network. I told her beforehand that I’d probably disappear for a week, and she said it was completely fine.
The weird part started when I came back.

I texted her. No reply.

I waited. Texted again after a few days. Still nothing.

It’s been weeks now.

What confuses me isn’t that she lost interest. People change their minds, and that’s okay. It’s the fact that everything seemed normal before I left, and then it was like I came back to a completely different reality.

I still catch myself wondering if I did something wrong, if she expected me to text more before leaving, or if she simply met someone else while I was gone.

Maybe I’ll never know.

I guess the hardest part isn’t losing someone you’ve known for years. Sometimes it’s losing someone who became important before you even realized they had.
Has anyone else experienced something like this?

Are online friends this shallow

I met a friend here on this subreddit. We met a couple of times in person, and after that we started talking every day. Before I left for a trek to Kedarkantha, I told her that I probably wouldn't be able to stay in touch because there's little to no network coverage for most of the trek. She said it was completely okay.

But as soon as I got back, everything changed. She started ignoring my texts, taking forever to reply, and eventually stopped responding altogether. It's been almost three weeks now, and I haven't heard a single word from her. The sudden change in her behavior is what hurts the most because nothing happened between us before I left, and I honestly don't know what changed.

Now what should I do

Most of the people on Reddit have bad intentions

I just made this and one another account on Reddit 2 days ago and posted on Reddit as boy and girl……

As you would have guessed for the girl account I got almost 45 chat requests and for boy not a single one

I posted on 6 subReddit of India and now I know how many bad people are there on this app and they are mostly Indian

Btw I am a man

There were like too creepy messages also like too much nsfw

Anyways for girls I would suggest atleast view their account age and never give personal information here first talk for long time and if you feel comfortable sharing then and only then share it

And for guys there were good ones too but 70 percent of them were with bad intentions

Anyways thanks for reading
