"Thought I replied" to a heartfelt message

I have an online friend of 7 years. We finally met in-person recently, and he made a comment about not feeling worthy of friendship. So I sent him a voice memo while driving home about how much he meant to me and how he's worthy of friendships and good relationships, and I cried while recording it.

He opened it the next morning, but didn't reply for a week.

I wrote "mk?" and he wrote back, "I cried when I listened to that, but then thought I replied but guess I didn't. Anyway, thank you for being such a great friend and really seeing me."

I made you cry, but you can't reply? Or you thought you might have, but didn't open our chat again?

It really makes me feel unappreciated and humiliated that I opened up over voice like that, to not be thought of for a week. It makes me resent his carelessness. Should I say something about my feelings?

Used a map, but account not old enough...

Oldhead returning to the game on a new account. I'm doing the tutorial quests, including completing a map. Spent an ungodly amount to get the pieces, clicked through, used them up, and got a message saying my account needs to be 3 months old. Am I screwed out of all those np? Can I go back after 3 months and access the Scary Cave?

JellyNeo reds, "You can only turn in the Scary Cave Map set once per account. There are no direct rewards for completion, other than access to the Scary Cave. Upon being turned in, you will be able to continue on the next step of the Varwolf Mini Plot." So maybe I've just unlocked it altogether, since it's once per account anyway?

Rest days for walking?

I have an event coming up for which I'm trying to get in shape. I live a stationary lifestyle, desk work, 4k steps a day. The event is a LARP (live action roleplay) at a large campground, lots of back and forth up hills, through trees, over a week. Last year, I couldn't walk on the fourth day. I felt like I was hit by a bus. It was so sad that I couldn't enjoy this thing I loved, and I don't want to repeat that.

So I was advised to walk 20k steps daily leading up to the event, avoid sugary drinks (to which I'm very partial), and cut out snacking. It's all going very well for the past 4 days.

My question is, should I take a break on certain days? Go down to 10k or something? Or is it important to stay at a constant? Thanks for any advice!!

Also looking for any other advice to help make running around the woods like an idiot more comfortable!

My player's* cleric's village completely disappeared. Poof. But everything was left behind. So she joined the party in running away to the other side of the planet on an expedition, depressed that her family had abandoned her. All she has is her mom's journal.

I need a way for her to discover what happened to her village, but it's across the globe in untraveled territory, so the only possible clue she could reasonably have is this journal. It could be as simple as the last 2 pages behind stuck together, which I'm fine with. What's another way the mom could have hastily written down what happened?

A monster came and silently ate them up, while my cleric was away. So the page would be like, "There's something here, something happening, oh god I can see it through the closet door, it's a beast from another world omg omg" with a very messy sketch. My player established in her backstory that whatever happened left behind no trace of a struggle or any clues.

I thought maybe invisible ink, but why would she use that if she's about to have to run for her life? Maybe the pages got wet at some point, and there's a spell that could reveal what it originally said?

Thanks for any creative ways to reveal this info!
