Double texting

Just wanted to get some different perspectives preferably females. I’m 31m and went on a date with 27f

Went on a first date with a girl, thought the date went pretty well. Went well enough to where I dropped her off at home after. The next day, I did jump the gun
and asked if I could see her again that day before she left town that night. (For context she ended up living 2 hours away but said she comes to my town pretty frequently)

she said “i think i have too much going on today but I would still love to get together again soon” I responded saying I’d love to and asked when she will be back in town.

Now that last message I received from her was sat and it’s Tuesday now.

Worth double texting or just let this one go? 😔

Buying machine with location

Looking to buy my first machine and have been considering buying one with a location. Looking for advice on how to do so.

What should I be looking for to know it’s a good or bad deal?

What type of information should I be asking the seller?

Are Facebook and Craigslist the best places to look?

When buying with a location, do I need to sign a contract with all parties involved? How do I make sure I’m not just getting scammed

Any other tips would be appreciated, thanks!

Career pivot

I’m looking to switch career paths right now. Currently working for public social services for city government and unhappy with slow career advancement opportunities and extremely low pay.

I was looking at relationship banker role but I’ve been told I might be better off staying at my current job. As someone who isn’t familiar with the different roles, any recs on roles I should be looking for?

Quick experience overview:
Product manager for software dev
Healthcare recruiter
Customer service
City gov worker for dept of public social services
Bachelors in business administration

Index fund recommendation

31 yo. For my ROTH IRA I currently have about 90% in FXAIX and 10% in FTIHX.

I was thinking about looking into adding a third that isn’t so tech heavy. Could be a little riskier with higher upside maybe. Any recommendations and advice?

Should I take some money out of HYSA

31m single I make about $4000/month net after retirement account contributions
Rent and utilities is about $1700/month
Car payment $280/month
Student loan $500/month (this is an income percentage payback, not traditional loan)
Car insurance $180/month
$14,000 in 401k
$11,000 in ROTH IRA
$7,300 in pension plan
$18,000 in HYSA
$2800 in checking

So my question is do you think I should take some money out of my HYSA and put into my ROTH IRA? I’ve been trying to focus on investing on my ROTH IRA lately and think maybe I have too much in my HYSA?

I work a city gov job so job security is pretty stable

Beginner tips

Hey everyone, been thinking about starting a YouTube channel. Still trying to figure out what my niche would be but I was wondering if there are any tips for someone who is a complete beginner to content creation.

If there is already a post dedicated to this, sorry and please direct me to that.

Thanks!

The male experience

I’m so tired of dating app culture. If women match with you they always do one of the following

Don’t ever respond. Why match in the first place if you have no intention of messaging?

Give absolute the bare minimum responses and nothing to work with. Their profile prompts usually suck and have nothing to respond to as well

If they do respond they seem to always ghost you instead of letting you know they don’t think it’s a good fit.

I’m just so tired of online dating. Not really looking for advise or tips, honestly just here to vent 🫩

Damage

This is my back window and I noticed the rubber parts are coming off. This is still a new vehicle with under 5000 miles so I’m not sure why this is happening. Is this normal? Should I be concerned?

This is a 2025 lxe
