Vampire, Shifter, or Werewolf?

Given the choice which one would be, which one would you maybe consider, and which one you would never want to be.

Let's call this: Marry, F**k, Kill - True Blood Version

Just remember this has nothing to do with the characters themselves but the life you'd live as one of these creatures.

Adele Stackhouse

I would have loved more seasons with this gem. Lois Smith did such a great job portraying this amazing woman.

I never understood the appeal of Bill

I get the whole sorrowful, reluctant vampire thing but it gets tiresome so fast. The entire relationship with Sookie is just flipping back and forth between madly in love forever and I never want to see you again. So pathetic, so dull.

I'd rather watch Eric and Pam any day. At least they're having fun!

What Demon would Miss Jeanette exorcise from you?

We all have them! What would your peyote induced exorcism free you from?

Let out your loudest scream for Ginger!

Normally high pitched screaming drives me insane but Ginger screaming is the funniest thing in the show!

Time for a rewatch

And spreading the love for my favorite character!

He was such a great actor. It's a shame that we never got to see all the great roles he could have brought to life. But at least we'll always have Lafayette!

1960s kids and cigarettes

Candy cigarettes were incredibly popular with children in the 1960s. The packaging was deliberately designed to match real cigarettes so that kids could buy packs that resembled their parents' brand. They were Christmas stocking treats and in Easter baskets and passed out as party favors at children's birthday parties.

After studies showed that the marketing to children actually worked and these kids became adult smokers some countries actually banned them. They are still available in the United States but they are no longer allowed to use the word "cigarettes" on the packaging.

Just wanted to say hey

I recently started watching Tales from the Crypt on AMC and I wasn't sure if there'd be a sub. Thrilled to see so many people active in it and loving the show.

You know my kids used to watch this when they were little and I didn't think much about it. It had a puppet so I figured it wouldn't be any worse than The X-Files which they loved. Watching it now makes me question how I let this one slip by! I told my daughter that and she said they used to really feel like they were getting away with something watching this.

Anyone else see this when they were probably too young..?

Finale

Just finished the last episode and cried through most of it. I've always enjoyed it but I just didn't realize how attached I was to this show until now. It really gets into your heart without you even realizing it. Thank you, Jean Smart, for your hilarious, brutal, intelligent, kind, and oh so wise character!

Final season

I haven't watched the last season yet so NO SPOILERS PLEASE! I'm starting a complete rewatch. Just tell me: is it a good ending in the sense that it completes the series?

4-2 The Lonely Man

Just finished this episode and I laughed all the way through Joseph telling them what happened. No worries - I'm not going to spoil it! Just wanted to say this show is hilarious and I will dread not having new episodes to look forward to when I've reached the end!

So tame. So lame.

The Handmaid's Tale is harsh, shocking, brutal, and cruel. The stakes are so high for any wrong move. The utter strength it takes to survive this world is shocking.

The Testiments is so incredibly tame in contrast it is downright childish and boring. This isn't because it's about "children" because the adults are toned down as well. Brutal rapes in THT verses a sly brush across the edge of a breast in TT don't compare. Both are disgusting violations, yes, but it's like the contrast of a high speed 20 car pile up and a parking ticket.

That isn't even the worst of it. TT doesn't even follow the societal rules established in THT. Are we supposed to believe that these prized, sheltered girls were accompanied to the dentist by an aunt but left outside while they were put under in a closed door room with a grown man? Seems to me if they prod at the girls to verify their period surely the aunts can witness a teeth cleaning.

I found the entire show poorly written, the "action" contrived, and the acting was terrible. However the worst offense is that it was boring. This YA garbage doesn't even belong in the same category as The Handmaid's Tale.
