How do you guys know where to buy good clothes from?

Whenever I see people wearing good shirts, cargos, oversized tees, sneakers etc. they already know good brands, websites, stores and hidden finds while I barely know where to shop from.

How did you guys build your fashion/clothing knowledge?

Any apps, websites, YouTubers, Instagram pages or general tips?

How do some people stay so updated about everything going on in the world?

Whenever I talk to some people, they already know about world news, business, wars, economy, trends, politics, technology, sports etc. while I find out about things very late.

How do people actually stay updated with everything without spending the whole day on news?

What apps, Yt channels, websites, routines or habits helped you become more aware and updated overall?

How do you build a classy/aesthetic Instagram if you’re not photogenic and tend to overthink posting?

I want to restart my Instagram (post/story and all )after being inactive for a long time and build a clean, classy, aesthetic profile.

The problem is I tend to overthink everything before posting. I often feel like I’m not very photogenic, and then I start analyzing everything — the angle, lighting, location, expression, overall vibe, whether it looks polished enough, etc.

Because of that, I usually end up not posting at all.

I’m not trying to become an influencer or force anything. I just want to build a natural but well-put-together profile with tasteful posts/stories.

For people who’ve improved this:

How did you get past overthinking and actually start posting?

Can being “non-photogenic” improve with practice?

What matters most for a classy aesthetic: location, camera, editing, posing, consistency?

Would appreciate practical advice.

How do you build real self-confidence socially?

I’ve been trying to improve my social confidence, but I sometimes notice that overthinking during social situations affects me physically too (like feeling tense, uncomfortable, or overly self-aware), which then makes me act less naturally.

It becomes a cycle where I start thinking too much about how I’m coming across, and that makes it harder to stay present in conversations.

I’m working on improving this, and I’m curious:

What actually helped you become more relaxed/confident socially?

How did you stop overthinking in the moment?

Did confidence come mostly from practice/exposure, mindset shifts, or something else?

Would appreciate practical advice from people who’ve worked through something similar.

Is Somaiya School of Basic and Applied Sciences MSc Data Science worth it in 2026? Honest reviews needed

I’m completing BSc IT in Mumbai (current CGPA around 8.2 before sem 6 result) and considering applying for MSc Data Science at Somaiya.

My long-term goal is to build a strong career in data analytics/data science, so I want real feedback before committing.

Would really appreciate honest input from current students/alumni:

  1. Is this program actually worth the fees?

  2. How are placements/internship opportunities for this specific MSc Data Science course?

  3. How is the teaching, curriculum, and practical exposure?

  4. Is ROI good compared to other Mumbai colleges?

  5. If you had to choose again, would you still join?

Looking for genuine experiences, especially from people in the program or recent graduates.

I’m finishing my BSc IT (Mumbai University) and exploring MSc options in Mumbai, mainly in Data Science / AI / Computer Science.

I’m specifically looking for merit-based colleges with decent academics and preferably genuine placement value.

I’m trying to understand:

  • Which colleges are actually worth considering?
  • Which ones are mostly just degree-on-paper?
  • If anyone has firsthand experience, how was the curriculum and placement support?

I’m aiming for a strong analytics/data science career path, so I’m trying to choose something that adds real value.

Would really appreciate honest suggestions.

I’ve noticed something that’s affecting my social confidence and I’m not sure what the exact cause is.

In normal, everyday social situations (like talking to someone briefly or casual interactions), I tend to sweat a lot even when I’m not physically active. It feels more like a sudden body reaction than just heat.

Along with that, I sometimes feel awkward in conversations and end up not responding or acting as naturally as I want to. It makes me overthink in the moment and affects how I carry myself socially.

I’m not sure if this is

anxiety-related response

overthinking / nervous system reaction

or just normal body heat + sensitivity

Has anyone experienced something similar? What actually helped you improve this — both physically and socially?

Any practical advice would really help.

I’ve noticed that in social situations I often struggle to stay active in conversations. I either go quiet after a while or run out of things to say, especially when I’m talking to new people.

I want to improve this and become someone who can keep conversations going naturally without forcing it or overthinking.

Any practical tips or mindset shifts that actually help with this? Like how do people stay so smooth and never seem to run out of topics?

Would really appreciate advice from people who’ve worked on this.
