Enclomiphene Update and dosage increase

Around 2-3 months ago I decided to start taking enclo since my T was insanely low (can see my recent level) and the endo/urologist couldn’t figure out why. I’m only 25 so I didn’t want TRT and thought this would be beneficial. I also likely think the issue could be related to diet, sleep, overexercising etc. my dosage was to be 25mg daily but I decided to be more cautious and only take it every other day to not over do it, especially as I felt some benefits pretty quickly. I think my bloodwork is good and indicates improvements, but also that increasing my dosage up to the recommended 25mg daily will be best. Let me know if you think anything about the bloodwork/update is concerning and/or if you have questions and were in a similar circumstance.

25M Profile Review

Not getting any real attention in the app recently and did much better last year. Not sure what to change, don’t have much pics, but can add them below in the comments if you think some need to be replaced.

Selling 1 ZITP Saturday ticket

$155 g&s seems fair, $20 under Ticketmaster and more than what I’d get selling there anyways.

Endocrinologist suggestions for pituitary issues NYC?

Hi, wondering if anyone has recommendations for a good endocrinologist in the NYC area that deals with hypogonadism/pituitary issues specifically. Both Zocdoc and my insurance provider IBX don’t seem to be the best mediums for researching this specific request.

Enclomiphene vs Clomiphene

Hi all, I’m 25M and just had a Dr prescribe me both clomid and enclo (says they’re basically the same) but I wanted to see which one was better. Clomid would be $80 vs enclo $115 for 90 day supplies at 25mg each. My test is very low around 100ng/dL and LH/FSH both very low around 1 (I have full lab results in previous posts if curious). I was wondering if there was a reason one would be preferred or if I should just go with lower cost.

Edit: Rationale: My LH/FSH levels are extremely low so my testes are (most likely) working, my pituitary is just not responding for some reason. I am first starting with enclo to see if that helps alleviate the issue, and increase my LH/test production. During the meantime, I will be meeting with a new endocrinologist as my urologist believes this issue is still related to the pituitary such as a GNRH problem or hypothalamus. I’m also only 25 so it’s best to try and fix the root cause and not just the symptoms for best LT practice. If after all this effort, then I will likely have to just supplement my testosterone and start TRT. This plan sounds the best for trying to fix the problem LT.

TRT unsafe for hereditary issues?

I was reading that TRT is unsafe for individuals with prostate cancer and believe this may be an issue for me. I have no started TRT but both my uncles had prostate issues, one had prostate cancer and testicular cancer. Is this enough to rule out TRT? I should also mention that I have a sensitive prostate.

25 and looking to chat with people who started TRT at similar age

In short, I’m just looking to learn some more info from people who started TRT young. why you stopped, side effects, LT effects (if applicable), and just some more experience and thoughts on the subject. Contemplating if TRT is truly right for me at this time.

Edit: my labs indicate secondary hypogonadism and is why I’m researching TRT, plus my endocrinologist suggested it.

You can look at my previous post for more info about my labs and why I’m looking into TRT if you’re interested.

Should I go on TRT at 25?

I’m highly considering going on TRT at 25 for QoL benefits. I posted my lab results below, along with an MRI to ensure I had no issues with the pituitary gland. Only irregularity was a partially empty/flattened sella measuring 3mm. Endocrinologist said by itself that isn’t an issue. I’m in very good shape, 5’9 around 165-170lbs and you can clearly tell I workout. My lowest weight in the morning was 160lbs on 5/9 and I’ve been increasing my fats and calories since, even gaining weight and don’t think I’ve weighed under 165lbs since. I am not depressed, but I think my general mood could be improved upon and sometimes I feel myself getting bored easily even at events I like. I haven’t really had any libido or desire for women at all recently and feel more sluggish and tired. I get 8 hours of sleep basically every night and in a good routine, rarely drinking alcohol. I eat clean etc. The endocrinologist suggested that I might think about TRT and can take a prescription gel to get my levels back to a normal range 400-500. He said recovery to normal levels at my point, and after getting off TRT, would be around 6-12months regardless. My conclusion and thought process was to get on TRT and likely remain for 1-3 years until I think (for some reason) that I’m stable and have fixed the problems and will get off it. Being at such a normal/low dose, he said I likely won’t have issues with reproduction or a LT dependence. This is my thought process, if anyone has any extra side effects, similar stories, etc they would be willing to share, I would appreciate it. I also had my labs done around a year ago, just wanting to get my levels checked because I also had low libido and some ED problems then. I want to reiterate that I’m contemplating TRT because I want to “feel normal again” and improve my QoL only.

4/17 Lab Results: Around 815am
Testosterone: 101 ng/dL
Free Test: 8.8 ng/dL
LH: 0.9 mIU/mL
FSH: 0.7 mIU/mL
IGF-1: 122ng/mL
Cortisol: 17.1ug/dL
Prolactin: 5.2 ng/dL

5/29 Lab Results: Around 845am
Testosterone: 93
Free: 3.07
LH: 1.1
FSH: 0.7
IGF-1: 132

5/10/2025 Lab results: around 8ish
Testosterone: 463
Free Test: 8.8

Contemplating taking test

Hi all, 25M and I’ve been having low-T issues for a decent bit now. I was in a prolonged calorie deficit and that had dropped my levels down to 102, but even after around a month of staying the same weight and eating more fats, it’s now at 93. Free test levels dropped too. Had an MRI on my pituitary and nothing different, besides a “partially empty sella”. Even before this, I had my testosterone checked around a year ago and was in the 200s at like 10-11am and then done again at 8am but was still low at 430. I’m pretty lean and have a good amount of muscle and feel like these levels are lower than they should be. I’ve also felt that I’ve been more mellow the last couple years, more anxious, and overall not enjoying life as much. Even though my current levels are likely low due to food intake, it doesn’t make much sense why my levels haven’t increased or why I’ve had lower levels in the past and even been feeling this way for a decent bit. Any advice?

Should I take contract role for almost double pay?

NYC, 2.5 years post grad, working in middle office, trade support, at a small American presence bank. 40hour weeks, super chill boss, work is very slow and boring. Got offered a contract role for 1.875x my current pay at a major AM firm. Role seems like it will be much more work, fast paced, etc and would be good learning and another resume booster if it doesn’t work out. Hiring manager was super high and this being converted to a full-time role, even if not for this specific position. Interviews went well, they seem like good people, I’m probably going to accept the role, but is this a reasonable decision?

Dining experiences

Doesn’t seem to say anywhere, but do the dining experiences with pre-fixe menus include tax and tip? They seem to all be around $60, so just asking if that’s the only charge necessary. Went to the Lucali comedy show, and it was the case that only the $75 per person ticket was the only charge asked.
