caring for non-raw nudies
how should I care for a pair of non-raw sonic sues? should I expect them to shrink in the wash or dry bleed? will they stretch out like raw jeans?

do people wear socks with tabi ballerina flats? how comfortable are they for long periods of wear with or without socks? I have slightly wide feet and was thinking of going a half size up
where can a girl find good quality (under ~$250) wide leg slightly slouchy jeans around here? ofc try on in nyc is ideal buttt if they are really good and have returns that works too. also, is the nudie jeans location in nolita really temporarily closed?
i'm looking for something that will stand the test of time both style- and quality-wise so i'm thinking wide leg but not too wide and slightly slouchy, mid to low rise, 100% cotton, not doing too much. most wide leg jeans don't have pleats but i do think two pleats in the front is super flattering if you need more room in the hips. i'm 5'5" with a 26" waist a 37" hips with hip dips (not saying there's anything wrong with that i just think it matters a lot for fit), shorter legs, and i think my kibbe type is soft natural based on vibes
a few months ago my credit score dropped 100 points (from 750+ to 650+) because there was a $5 charge left on my Bilt card. (I never use that card but I must have for something and forgot.) The card has since closed since I didn't opt into the new Bilt card. Is there a way to get my credit score back up? (It has since increased to 690 but obviously I'd prefer if it was 750+ again.) who would I call, Bilt/Wells Fargo or a credit company?
edit: according to my credit reports it says I have a WFBNA CARD (Potentially Negative) that was opened in Jan 2025 and the status is Paid, Closed. looks like the charge is $3 from December and with interest it grew to $5 by February
hi!! i'm thinking of buying a pair of matthew trousers. i have an xs size waist and s sized hips (like 25" waist and 36" hips at the widest point) so i was wondering which size has worked for people. i definitely prefer a true wide leg fit, and having wide hips makes that hard, but the legs of the xs do look fairly roomy and the sweaters i wear in winter will probably cover the top of my hips anyway. on the website the green says to size down if you're in between sizes but the brown just says to take your regular size. has anyone noticed inconsistencies in sizing between different colors? how high waisted do they fall on you? also, how have they worn over time?
I have a pair of knit pants (57% wool, 17% angora, 14% cashmere, 12% nylon but the nylon should be fine right?) that are stretched out in the knee, and one knee has a hole in it. I was thinking of using a felted sweater to patch up the hole, but in order for the patch to lie flat I was wondering whether it would be possible to do some combination of needle and wet felting to un-stretch the knees. Does this seem possible?
I just received a pair of Diadoras (the equipe dirty sw evo) for everyday wear in the mail and wondering if anyone else has had them and how they hold up. they seem to have a slight tilt in the sole like a high heel, is that normal? I'm just looking for something that's comfortable for walking around the city and will hold up well, preferably made of leather or suede. i wear 7-7.5 women's, weigh 120 lb at 5'5", and have relatively wide toes. relatedly, if the soles of my feet are sometimes sore at the end of the day, is there a particular type of shoe or insole I should be getting?
I'm hoping to copy a silk satin cami I already have that's cut on the bias with a silk chiffon layered over a cotton voile cut and sewn as one fabric (with tissue paper over the chiffon for stability). I know the drape will be different but it's a decently close fitting cami so it'll probably still look fine/I don't need it to be exactly the same. but will the silk/cotton combo have the same stretch? also, are both left-right and right-left diagonals the same? I know the warp and the weft are different but since I'm drafting my own pattern I don't know which diagonal to cut along or whether it matters.
this is my first time sewing with silk and first time sewing on the bias, so is there anything else I should know? I've been practicing my French seams on this fabric and they look good but the bias tape is a little wonky esp bc I'm worried about enclosing the tissue paper in the bias. any tips or should I just get spray starch or something instead?
what are the brands of those Chinese yogurt drinks that come in a squat little container with foil lids and where can I find them in the us? you drink them by sticking a little straw into them. they have hella sugar and I think don't have a flavor specified. having a craving for them but only get them from planes/hotels so I don't remember any brand names
edit: it's not yakult btw, I've lowkey hated yakult since I was a kid which is scandalous I know. I just found Beijing yogurt on weee by searching suannai and the texture looks pretty close, hopefully it comes with a straw. has anyone tried this brand before?
