Is this typical for one 26lb kettlebell from Rogue?
Really wanna pick up a single powder coated kettlebell, but $40 shipping? Dang
Side note - anyone know where I can buy one locally in LA? Hahaha

Picked these up at a flea market for $100. Don't know much about them beyond the size (13D). The style appears to be "H551". The other number looks like 1220684 or 7220684.
They're my second pair of boots, the first is a pair of black vintage Dan Posts. Are these a step above or below those quality-wise? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!
I got backed into this week, person didn't leave a note. Hard enough to bend the license plate back into the bumper.
The truck started overheating on my drive home so I pulled over and checked the radiator. Was about 2 quarts low. Checked it again when I got home and it was low again. This morning there was a little puddle of fluid dripping from the bottom of the radiator on the passenger side. Also some wetness on top of the lower tank.
What's odd is the AC condenser is in front of the radiator, so you'd think that'd be the thing to break, right? Haven't checked if it blows cold air yet, but I'm almost positive I'm losing coolant.
I think I'm gonna take a day next week install a new radiator, but wanted to check here if I'm overlooking anything obvious or if there's anything else I should check. Wasn't expecting to install a new radiator but it looks pretty rusted out inside so maybe it's for the best
Someone backed into my 1988 pickup while it was parked and didn’t leave a note. Last photo is the before.
Anything I can do to fix this?
I've wanted a Quadraverb for a while, but I have an opportunity to pick up a Yamaha SPX990 near me for $130.
I hear the Quadraverb is more lofi and gritty, which is appealing to me as someone who makes electronic, Aphex Twin and Boards of Canada-inspired music.
But are they really that different? Should I pull the trigger on this good deal for a SPX990 or wait for a Quadraverb to find its way to me? Any insights appreciated, thx!
Just poking my head in here to say I've been having a ton of fun making faux tape-based ambient with this case!
A bit odd approaching modular without any oscillators, but it's been working very well for me as a standalone effects rack. I can plug in my OP-1, a guitar, or an sm57 and go wild. It also plays extremely well with my Octatrack via mmMidi.
The empty spots are waiting on a screaming deal on a Desmodus Versio, as well as some 1u utility (noise tools, maybe a zeroscope). Considering selling Mimetic Digitalis as I haven't been making rhythmic stuff lately.
It sounds even better with patch cables ;-)
How would you patch this up? What modules would take this case to the next level? (I'm very inspired by folks like Tim Hecker and Robinson's Village)
Hey! I make ambient. A typical patch for me is Morphagene -> Panharmonium -> Mimeophon -> Dual Dagger Filter -> Data Bender -> out. Maths is modulating some parameters. My fingers do a lot of twiddling.
My quad VCA just kinda sits there. I have a pretty good understanding of what they do (control how much of something happens), but for my use case, I can never think of a reason to patch it in.
Am I missing something obvious? How would you use it to make pads more lively and organic sounding?
After a recent brake failure in my '88 toyota pickup, I got the master cylinder and brake booster replaced, and the rear drums serviced. I also replaced the front pads + rotors myself a few months ago.
I'm about to go on a 200-mile road trip so I checked the fluids and the master cylinder's reading pretty close to min.
I should top it off a bit before I leave right? There's no leaks or anything under the truck, just some slight dampness around the bleeder valves. Truck's pretty close to cold.
Thanks!
I have to park under a tree. My 1988 Toyota pickup has been accumulating these tree red-ish droppings for the past few months.
I’m REALLY having trouble getting them off. I’ve tried everything — goo gone automotive, 70% rubbing alcohol, plastic scraper, Tarminator — and no luck. The clay bar is the only thing that’s kind of worked, and even then I had to work at each splotch for 15+ minutes.
Anyone have any ideas? Do I try Goof Off Pro Strength? Something else? Clay bar the whole truck? I know this gets asked a lot, but I’ve read all the posts and nothing has worked. Super open to any wisdom y’all may have. Thank you in advance!
I’ve got a 1988 2wd 22re pickup and I can’t fill the tank past 3/4 (according to the gauge). I don’t think I’ve been able to fit more than ~8 gallons in it at a time. Makes road trips not very fun.
Anyone have any ideas for how to fix? I’ve been digging around the Haynes manual but coming up short. Thanks!
Beginner here! Got into it bc of boxing. Wanna make sure I’m creating good habits form-wise. Thx!
Recently decided to sell my 4hp FX aid — great algorithms, but I mostly just use it as a set-and forget reverb module. I can never remember which knobs do what, or what algorithm is stashed where.
Instead, I wanna do a deeper, more dedicated effect module. I'm looking at things like the Mimoephon, Desmodus Versio, Starlab (which I definitely can't afford lol), Bastl Pizza Delay, etc.
I'm mainly doing sample-based stuff, routing a Morphagene into a Panharmonium and messing around with it to create textures and glitchy stuff with my Data Bender.
I admittedly LOVE reverb, and I wanna make sure it's represented in my rack somewhere, but I've heard great things about the Mimeophon and it feels like it could push me toward some new sonic ideas.
Stereo in/out is a must (sorry Erbe-Verb). Current rack for reference HERE !!
I bought these new Professional Gil gloves 2 weeks ago and just got around to using them for the first time. Is there supposed to be this much scarring / flaking after one session on the bag?
