store really said "oh you just spent money? here's evori vandal, oni phantom AND the exo knife you wanted

ok so I literally just bought the blackthorn vandal yesterday, and I grabbed the champs 2026 bundle too (so new phantom + new knife). today I open my store and it's the evori vandal, oni phantom, and exo knife, which I've wanted forever. like come on riot
I already have like 4-5 phantom skins and 7-8 vandals I actually like, so I don't know if i NEED any of these. but I like all three and idk if I'll regret letting them go
would you buy any of these or just wait for them to come back / pop up in night market? if you had to pick one which one?

I have a new high-end PC which five games are absolutely worth buying?

I’ve just upgraded to a powerful gaming PC with a Ryzen 7 9800X3D, RTX 5080 and 64GB RAM.

Rather than randomly buying games during sales, I want to start with five genuinely excellent games. If you could only recommend five games that are worth buying and playing on PC, what would
they be?

I’m open to all genres, including single-player and multiplayer. Please mention whether each game is usually worth buying at full price or better picked up during a sale.

[LFP] Looking to build a serious Premier team | Ascendant+

Hey everyone, I'm looking to put together a serious Premier team.
I'm currently Ascendant 1 and peaked Ascendant 2. I'm looking for players who are Ascendant or above, take competitive VALORANT seriously and are willing to communicate, practise and build proper team chemistry.
I'm not expecting everyone to be perfect.
I just want reliable, non-toxic players who are actually interested in trying to make something work instead of playing one random match and disappearing.
If you're interested, comment or DM me with:
- Current rank and peak rank
- Main roles/agents
- Region/server

Has anyone else been getting repeated cheater-detected red screens?

I've had this happen around 5 times recently. In every match, one player goes AFK for almost the entire game, and then the red cheater-detected screen appears right at match point or near the end.
It's really irritating because you spend the whole match playing, only for it to get cancelled at the very end. Has anyone else noticed this pattern, or know why it keeps happening?

Hit this 1v5 in an Ascendant lobby while live.
Still can’t believe the last kill worked 😭 (after i made a sound on window)
Agent: astra
Map: haven
What would you have done differently? Any positioning, decision-making or aiming mistakes that I should work on? Honest criticism is welcome.

also this match went to OT and we won. (36frags by me)

1440p or 1080p for competitive Valorant on a 500Hz monitor?

I have a 27-inch 1440p 500Hz BenQ OLED monitor. For competitive Valorant, should I keep Windows and Valorant at native 2560×1440, or switch to 1920×1080?

I’ll keep the monitor at 500Hz either way. Is 1440p worth using, or does 1080p provide a meaningful competitive advantage.

My goal is the best competitive setup, not just better visuals.

Starting gaming streams and YouTube videos from zero. How should I approach editing?

Hi everyone,
I'm planning to start creating gaming content, mainly Valorant and Minecraft.
My idea is to livestream first and then turn the best moments into edited
YouTube videos and Shorts.
I'm completely new to the content-creation workflow, so l'd appreciate advice from anyone who has knowledge of gaming videos, editing or lets plays.
You do not have to be an experienced creator. Viewer opinions are also useful.
I'd like advice on:
- Whether livestreams are a good source for YouTube videos
- How to find good moments in a long recording
- How much dead air to remove
- How heavily gaming videos should be edited
- Good beginner editing software
- How to structure a gaming video
- Making thumbnails and titles
- Whether commentary matters more than gameplay
Thankss

Planning to stream Valorant soon. What type of content do viewers actually enjoy?

Hi everyone,
I'm planning to start streaming soon and Valorant will probably be one of my main games.
I'm trying to understand what makes Valorant streams and clips interesting, especially for a new creator who does not already have an audience. I'm open to advice from streamers, editors, regular viewers and anyone who follows Valorant content.

What do you think works best for a beginner?
- Ranked grind streams
- Improvement or educational content
- Funny moments and reactions
- Playing with friends
- Viewer games
- Challenge-based content
- Short tips and guides
- Highlight clips
- Personality-focused streams
Should a new streamer focus on improving at the game, being entertaining, teaching, or some combination?
I also plan to turn streams into Shorts and Reels, so advice about what moments are worth clipping and how to edit them would be useful.
I'm not posting this to promote my channel. I'm just trying to understand what Valorant viewers enjoy watching and what mistakes new creators should avoid.

New streamer looking for advice on building good habits from the beginning

Hi everyone,
I'm planning to start streaming soon, mainly Valorant and Minecraft, and I'm hoping to learn from other small or beginner creators.
I may eventually try IRL streaming too, but I want to begin with gaming and first become comfortable on camera, speaking to viewers and creating regular content.
I'm interested in hearing from anyone who has knowledge or experience, even if you are still a small streamer yourself.
What helped you with:
- Getting through the first few streams
- Talking when nobody is watching
- Choosing a schedule
- Picking games and content ideas
- Improving your microphone, camera and overlays
- Getting useful feedback
- Turning streams into short-form content
- Learning editing
- Avoiding burnout
- Building a community without forced networking or spam
What do you wish you knew before your first stream?
R
I'm not looking for follow-for-follow. I'd prefer genuine advice and honest opinions about what actually helped you improve.

Should I build my gaming channel around YouTube Live, Shorts and edited videos?

Hi everyone,
I'm planning to start creating gaming content, beginning with Valorant and Minecraft. My initial idea is to stream, then turn the best moments into Shorts, Reels and edited YouTube videos. Later, I may also try IRL content.
I'd appreciate advice from anyone who understands YouTube Gaming, whether you are a creator, editor or regular viewer.
I'm particularly interested in:
- Whether YouTube Live is a good place for a new gaming creator
- How to combine livestreams, Shorts and longer videos
- Whether streaming should be the main content or just a source of clips
- How long gaming videos should be
- What makes a good title and thumbnail
- How to find moments worth editing from a long stream
- Which editing software is beginner-friendly
- Whether one game or multiple games i better initially
Thankss

Need honest advice: Is my 4.7L EliteHubs build sensible for 1440p gaming and streaming?

Hi everyone,

I’m planning to buy a custom PC from EliteHubs and wanted some honest opinions before I pay the advance. I don’t know enough about PC hardware to judge whether I’m spending sensibly or just buying expensive parts I won’t fully use.

The total quotation is ₹4,70,386, including GST, assembly and testing.

My use case:

- Valorant, mainly competitive gaming
- Minecraft, including shaders/mods
- Streaming through OBS
- Recording gameplay and making Shorts/clips
- Some future AAA gaming
- I’ll play GTA on PS5, not necessarily on PC
- I’m currently considering a 27-inch 1440p IPS monitor at 200/240Hz
- I don’t plan to edit long-form 4K videos
- I want to keep the PC for several years

The quoted parts are:

- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
- Motherboard: Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite X3D WiFi 7
- RAM: Kingston Fury Beast RGB 64GB DDR5-6000 CL30
- GPU: ASUS Prime RTX 5080 OC 16GB
- CPU cooler: Cooler Master MasterLiquid Core NEX Digital 360mm
- PSU: Cooler Master Elite Gold 1000W ATX 3.1, fully modular
- SSD: WD Black SN7100 2TB NVMe
- Case: Corsair 3500X RS-R ARGB
- Windows 11 Pro: genuine licence confirmed by the seller
- Assembly and 36-point testing included
- Three years of technical support included

I’ve decided not to add a second SSD now. I’ll add one later if I need more space for recordings.

My main questions are:

  1. Is the RTX 5080 unnecessary for my actual use case, or is it reasonable for long-term 1440p gaming?
  2. Would an RTX 5070 or 5070 Ti make more sense and free money for the monitor, microphone, webcam, lighting and capture card?
  3. Is the Ryzen 7 9800X3D a sensible choice for Valorant plus streaming?
  4. Is the X870E motherboard too expensive for this build?
  5. Is the Cooler Master Elite Gold 1000W ATX 3.1 PSU reliable enough for the RTX 5080?
  6. Is 64GB RAM worth keeping, or would 32GB be enough?
  7. Are there any parts here that look overpriced, unnecessary or questionable?
  8. Would you personally buy this build at this price?

I’m not looking for a “buy the most expensive thing” answer. I’d prefer a balanced opinion based on what I’ll actually use.
