I didn't hate Obsession, but I don't consider it a decent horror movie at all. The only emotion the movie could conjure for me was pity for Nikki and Sarah. And of course loathing of Bear.
I also think every part of the plot was extremely easy to predict, so none of it had any impact on me.
Watched this and Hokum back to back and that 20 minute Honeymoon suite sequence of Hokum terrified me way more than the entirety of Obssession.
I guess people just see a few populist opinions and run with the virtue signalling. Cause this is way too overhyped
