I'm currently enrolled in SSDC, but i keep failing my lesson 1.2. I failed it for the 5th time today. The instructors keep telling me my turn is wobbly, and nothing else. Other than that, every lesson i feel like they will focus on the "more good" students and bring them to the outer circuit, while the rest are in the mini circuit just practicing. Last lesson, the instructor told me, you meet the minimum passing req already, but i think u need to practice more so i was failed. Today, the instructor told me my turn is wobbly so redo 1.2 again for practice.
Sometimes, they're engaged in their own convos with their colleagues and dont watch us riding. They're nice and friendly, but i dont really learn much per lesson i feel. Every lesson they just tell me the same thing and prac more so need to re do 1.2.
I'm quite short and need to book for MSX bike, and when its not available and i dont manage to sell my slot, it's $37 is down the drain.
Maybe it's a skill issue lah idk, but i'm so frustrated and demoralised and kinda wanna quit atp. Cuz it's only lesson 1 and i failed so many times already... A friend told me BBDC instructors are more towards the teaching side, and nicer in general. Any advice?

I've only been playing xiv for a few months.. Just finished SHB, and it has been a blast until now :D I've only really played healers/casters until recently as i (finally) unlocked viper. I've been really interested in viper because of the twin blades, so i picked it up to try and been enjoying it thus far! But since i've never played melee, positionals are still kinda new to me.
I keep running into fights where the boss is glued right against the edge of the arena (like Hades EX in the screenshot, it's from a video, not my fight), and I have no idea where I’m supposed to stand for rear positionals. There’s literally no space behind the boss. I know there's true north but we only get 2 charges for it.
Are we supposed to miss those positionals, or is there some trick I’m not understanding?
Sorry if this is a dumb question 😭 I dont have friends who plays xiv and i tried asking chatgpt once but it gave me some answer that i didnt understand 🤡

this morning i made a post about accidentally eating the spriggan chocolate that a random gave me in idyllshire because they said i looked like a spriggan person with the spriggan hat and mount on. i genuinely thought i'd never get another one.
a very very kind person from reddit reached out, traveled all the way to oce just to trade me, and gave me five. five!!!! spriggan chocolates. we took a few screenshots afterwards on my request (my gpose skills are terrible i apologise😭).
i just wanted to say thank you again to them with this post! it's such a tiny in game item, but the fact that you went out of your way to do that for a random stranger genuinely made my day. this community is so wholesome. 🤍 it's a happy ending with my spriggans!
also don't worry... they're safely sitting in my retainer now. i learned my lesson. i'm never eating another spriggan chocolate again in my life.
hi everybody.. last week i was just afking around khloe in idyllshire when a really nice viera lady randomly traded me a spriggan chocolate.
the interaction was really cute, they said i looked like a spriggan because i had the spriggan hat on and was riding the spriggan mount 🥺 it was such a random wholesome interaction that i decided to keep the chocolate instead of eating it, as a memento.

Getting my wisdom tooth extracted in about 10mins, mostly to make more space for my braces. I'm so freaking scared. It's not my first time, i've had 3 tooth pulled in my life and all were painless, one was surgical as the tooth broke while they were pulling. Even so, i'm still so scared. I know it doesn't hurt and only the injection hurts for a bit, but still so nerve wrecking while in the waiting room. Does this fear ever go away? I know i'm already 27 but still wicked scared. 😭😭😭😭 I'm not sure what advice i need here i just needed someplace to rant, i'm so nervous and scared, i'm sorry
