Anywhere near Houston area like Chapel of Love?

I’m so over stressing about this wedding and thinking about just doing a courthouse, but I love the concept of Chapel of Love in Austin, it’s just a little far for us. Still might be an option.

Does anyone know anywhere in the north Houston area that is similar?

Taylor Wynn is becoming so out of touch to me…

I know there are already a lot of people who have stopped watching her due to her nomad lifestyle years ago, but I hung around because I actually really liked her as a person and enjoyed her vlogs. As I’ve gotten older I stopped caring about makeup as much so it felt organic to stick around for that shift in her life. I’m also nosy and like to know what she’s up to.

Recently I’ve found myself not wanting to watch even her vlogs anymore. She just doesn’t come across as engaging as she used to. She spent a good portion of one of her last vlogs reviewing a mop. Like girl it’s not that deep. Now she’s been on this “antiquing” kick and it’s driving me crazy. The amount of crap she is buying just to stick around her house and look “cute” is wild to me. Real people out here can barely afford groceries and she’s buying glassware and miniature picture frames to stick on a shelf. It’s so out of touch.

I don’t have a picture and my post was deleted from help me find…

It’s a painting of a young woman wearing a scarf on her head and something red. She was holding a baby sheep with another sheep at her feet. It seemed biblical and maybe from the renaissance period. It definitely seemed old. I saw it at an acquaintances house in a large ornate frame, obviously a print but I was very taken with it.

Bio mom bought stepdaughter a Gizmo watch, potentially causing emotional distress

We share custody about 50/50 so we get SD usually the later half of the week when bio mom works (she works nights). This Thursday SD comes home with a new watch that you can text on (among other things but no internet). She’s still in elementary school btw. She starts talking to her mom on it and all of a sudden she’s being really quiet and sad and eventually she starts crying that she misses her mom and that she never gets to see her and that doesn’t understand why she works nights etc. I soothe her and let her cry it out, her dad was also around. Well that was that.

I checked the watch just now because I’m still kinda of suspicious of it and see that she’s been sending her voice messages throughout the day yesterday, and this morning when she woke up. I thought it was just the initial interaction because I never saw her doing it again. I can tell she’s in a mood today and in her feelings again. She hasn’t been like this recently at all, she rarely ever mentions her mom or missing her and lately she hasn’t been wanting to go back over there when the weekend is over.

Idk if it’s just a recent interaction that occurred that’s making her so emotional, or if the watch is spurring something on since she has unrestricted contact with her now. I don’t want her to not be able to talk to her if she needs to, but I also don’t want her to become so worked up over these little interactions.

Any advice on how to feel/move forward with this?
