Mads Tolling (of Bobby’s Wolfpack) plays Hey Joe
A friend of mine, violinist Mads Tolling, played his solo loop show in a neighbor’s backyard. It was an intimate performance and a real treat. Here he is playing Hey Joe, runs just under 5:30. Enjoy!

Wanted to score loge seats but only floor, mezz, and balcony were available. Did anyone here see loge seats for sale?
Thanks! ❤️💙
Reporting here on Jerry Harrison's 50 Years of Talking Heads set from Sound Summit on Mt Tamalpais in Marin County, California, on Sept 12, 2026.
The one-hour performance was funky as fuck. Flawless, really. See picture for the setlist (no Burning Down the House).
Jerry was backed by the Remain in Light band. Not sure how this lineup differs from his other RIL band (I recognized a few people), but Adrian Belew was not there, while violinist Mads Tolling was. The woman to the left in photo #3 is Jerry's daughter, if I heard him right. I forgot who sang This Must Be the Place; see pic #4 with the thumbs-up, maybe you recognize him.
Jerry sang a bunch and, at 77, he sounded great. The backup singers nailed it. They also sang leads on Slippery People and Heaven — and maybe other songs, I didn't exactly take notes during the show.
Mads had Belew's shoes to fill. Full disclosure, he and I are friends, so, biased. I thought he nailed the tone and the effects you'd otherwise hear from Fripp or Belew.
I designed the Remain in Light inspired Grateful Dead shirt Mads is wearing. Gave one each to him and Jerry.
Very hopeful there will be more TH50 shows from Jerry. I will never tire of seeing this music live.
I mean W.T.F.?! They have waters and maybe mocktails but no NA beer whatsoever.
Anyone have insight into this? Anyone in the redditsphere here work for the Greek and able to address this gaping hole in an otherwise amazing concert venue experience?
I would have dropped $30 or $40 last night on NA beer but instead spent $0. Take my money! 💰
My love for Devo predates my love for the Dead. My first Devo show was Radio City Halloween 1981, my first Dead show Philly 4/20/84. I like mashing up Dead symbols with other bands, here's Spud Your Face, with Stealie sporting an Energy Dome. I've also done Bertha Stardust, for any Bowie fans in the audience. Funny how music and bands that are so different can feel so right. I put this stuff on merch if you want to wear it at gd300.com. But mostly I'm just wondering if there are people who are really into the Dead and Devo too.
Game-day decision to see the show which sold out months ago. I need a miracle, but not a free ticket. I'm happy to pay what you did. Thank you! 🙏🏼
UPDATE: I am in!!!

UPDATE: Boy these ISO posts sure do bring out the scammers! Hey kids, you be careful out there!
To save us all time and trouble: These are static barcode tickets so I will pay you after I get in through the gates at the show. Cell service is iffy there, but the moment I have a connection I'll send you the $. Now I know this probably sounds as dodgy as the scammers trying valiantly to separate me from my money, but what choice do I have here? Yes, I am looking on CoT. Thank you for your attention to this matter! ⚡️
You two were so lovely together! I have a wonderful picture of you two, lmk and I’ll share it.
You were nearish to the stage in front of Lebo.
Sorry I didn’t ask for permission to take this. I was caught up in the moment.
EDIT: This is a cropped version posted here.
Mind absolutely blown by Dogs in a Pile playing Minnie the Moocher at The Guild — my second show, the first was at The Junction two days earlier.
Do they/have they played St. James Infirmary? It's got that slinky groove they would totally nail.
What other songs do they play have that deep, slinky groove? I want to get to know their repertoire! 🐾
I follow r/SketchDaily and regularly accept their daily prompts. Yesterday’s prompt was Obscure Fanart. Thought I’d share it here since my reference probably won’t be obscure to you! ❤️⚡️💙
Hi! I have discovered that many of my posts across a number of communities have been removed with the message, "Sorry, this post was removed by Reddit’s filters." They are truly innocuous posts, not spammy or weird or anything, and the filter is just going nuts and making me look super sketchy. Can you please help me fix this problem?
Thank you!
I designed a Shakedown shirt based on the SF MUNI logo and gave one to my friend Mads Tolling (Bobby’s Wolfpack). He wore it on stage the next day at the Grahame Lesh & Friends show in Monte Rio and let me post this. I am unreasonably excited about this. It’s at gd300.com if you want one.
UPDATE: Due to popular demand, I have moved the label to the inside of the shirts and added a heavyweight Comfort Colors tee with tons of color options for all three designs. I also posted a new design, "Just Exactly Perfect". They're at GD300.com. Thanks for your support! 🙏🏼
