Pacey definitely is my favourite character on the show.
I had this thought from since Season 1 when I see he was used for a good comic relief but I knew it had to be some more reasons why he’s my favorite character. After watching his birthday episode in Season 4 I felt bad for him because with the exception of Gretchen his family is trash, I expected Doug to be slightly better in that episode but I guess not. I could relate so much to that because I’ve dealt with my fair share of family drama. Seeing Pacey go off on his family after they ridicule him at his own birthday party was satisfying to see, I legit was saying Get them Pacey” when he did that. How tf his other sister gone get him an array know he’s not a smoker smh. That was silly and then his mom making food he clearly doesn’t like.
When Steph Curry pretended to be Chris Brown to a DoorDash Driver 😂
Jen’s Grandma standing up for Dawson
Seeing Grams stand up for Dawson from Mr Brooks after he rescued Pacey and Jen from the boat was one of the most satisfying things scenes on the show so far. I thought she was gonna say she would kick his ass if Dawson had to use his college fun to pay him because that was gonna be fire lol but I guess she’s too classy for that. No wonder why that man is so lonely, he’s so grumpy.
Just started Season 4 so no further spoilers please
The intro for The Weekend has to be one of the most beautiful intro I’ve ever heard on a song.
I’ve been a fan of her since Cntrl. This probably has been said in this sub before idk, but the song is living rent free in my head these past couple of days lol. I don’t mind the outro either so I guess ThankGod4Cody indeed.
Paige Bueckers says she would love to play Kobe 1 on 1 🏀.
What do yall think the final score would be?
Do yall agree with Jen’s grandmother kicking her out after witnessing a tragedy?
I’ll like to hear what you guys think. I understand her grand mom beliefs and why she would be upset by what she said at Abby’s funeral but she got to realize that she was still grieving. I could only imagine what she was going through after seeing one of her best friends drowned so suddenly. I like to hear from both sides
According to this video Luka shoots worse when he’s wide open than contested.
youtu.beAndie is becoming very unlikable in Season 3.
It’s like ever since she cheated on Pacey she became more and more unlikable since then:
She cheated on her PSAT
She went super overboard with the rules in that one episode.
And on top of it she lied about Joey’s boss sexually assaulting her just to try get Pacey sympathy so she can win him back.
But what pissed me off is when Jack told Pacey how he broke her heart also. I was like dude WTF are you talking about?? Your sister literally cheated on him and had to make false accusations to try win him back you can’t be just expecting him to take her back that easily. It’s a shame because in Season 2 was pretty decent and Pacey improved in school because of her. Just finished 3x9 so no Spoilers please.
I really can’t stand Felix.
He’s so corny, I feel like the only purpose he served during Season 2 was to fill the void for Brooke when she had her financial struggles and she was wanted to be in a relationship with someone because of it. His sister had way more purpose than him. He really thought that he can write a slur on Peyton his girlfriend’s best friend and get away with it tf. I wish he got his ass kicked more on the show.
Tim is even weirder than I remember
I can’t believe this dude literally brought his stepmom porno to a bachelor party and was glorifying it wtf??? This guy is a complete weirdo, I would’ve be suprised if he jerked off to her porn vids and have disgusting my fantasies about her.
First Time Watcher - Dawson and Joey prediction.
So I recently just stated the show a week ago and from currently on S1EP12 I could easily tell Dawson and Joey is clearly going to be endgame. I could sense it. Every episode in Season 1 always open up with them watching movies together or Joey entering Dawson room through the window, and it feels like it’s going to be the same case for the season Finale(correct me if I’m wrong)
What I feel like will happen is that they will start dating for a little while then they’ll break up and start dating other people then eventually they’ll get back together as the series progresses. I could see this happening.
I also heard how this show kinda birthed One Tree Hill also
Lucas being protective of Haley
Rewatching the show for the first time and Lucas pissed me off a lot in Season 1. Outside of cheating on Brooke he was unnecessarily overly protective of Haley. I get that she’s his best friend and he really care about her but he was really over protective of her, here are a few things that bugged me although he was right that than Nathan only wanted to be with Haley just to irritate him(Nathan admitted this too which upset Haley but eventually the feelings were real)
When Haley subbed to be a cheerleader because Therese’s had chicken pox he said he look ridiculous which was super unnecessary. It isn’t like she’s wearing something that is super racy.
When Haley had Nathan jersey number tattooed above her ass, he assume Nathan had something to do with that.
When he caught Nathan and Peyton kissing as apart of the auction rule (which confused me because didn’t he know the rules of the action lol), he called out Nathan for it but admitted that he was kinda amped up at the end.
When he caught Haley and Nathan after having sex and was upset that she didn’t waited until marriage.( they recently got married) even if they did it before marriage isn’t any of his business. He literally had sex with Brooke and Nikki who he just met in one night
He seriously acts like an overprotective father when it came to her decisions a lot in this season. I like Lucas but he’s clearly a flawed character which you would expect in a teen drama series. I don’t know how I missed that the first time I guess that’s the purpose of a rewatch. What do you guys think?
All the events that lead to her demise just irks me.
Her team failed her.
Jake Jagielski is a very underrated character.
I really like his friendship with Lucas, he was the only one who was friendly to Lucas when he first joined the basketball team whilst Nathan and the other guys were hazing him a lot. Lucas needed that. I liked his relationship with Peyton, so it dont surprised me why a lot of fans wanted them to be end game.
How many times have y’all rewatched the show?
This is legit my favourite Teen Drama show and I’m doing my first rewatch, I’m most likely going to skip Season 8 and some episodes of Season 7. But I’m curious to find out how many fans rewatch the show. Rewatching this because I can’t get into Gossip Girl.
Father-Son Charity Basketball Game episode.
Why is Dan still so overly competitive about a basketball game that literally only for charitable purposes. Dude is acting like it’s Game 7 in the playoffs. All of the dads are just laughing it off when they are getting dominated by their sons playing basketball just as I would expect because they are way past their primes and it’s their sons time now then there’s Dan, he’s such a loser.
He had to foul his own son because his pride couldn’t take it if he hit the game winner over him smh. All this time he was pressuring Nathan to be a great basketball player but when it came to a situation where. Nathan could shine over him that’s what he decided to do??? What’s even. Ore crazy is him bragging about the dads winning the game over the “sons” the next episode at that party he had at the beach house like Nathan didn’t let him win that game and they were getting crushed early on. I know he’s was being a scum that entire episode but that moment just shows how low he can go when it certain moments.
