Pretty sure in vanilla they’re worth the same amount making them even more of a liability..? But idk.
New mechanic? New tribe? Both?
I mean, I'm happy for her, don't get me wrong
If Azalina priests are running 20 do-nothing control cards in the hopes of using their opponent’s 20 do-something real cards on the cheap, but they queue into another priest, they both have 40 card decks that are completely impotent, right?
And then it devolves into an hour long Imbue priest slugfest I guess..? How does either player win in any reasonable amount of time? Conceding when one gets too bored? I’m excited for Azalina but if a lot of people decide to try playing her this wouldn’t be all that uncommon.
I play wild so I was thinking maybe including ETC and slipping Kil’jaeden inside so that in that situation I can potentially out-value a fellow limp priest deck, but it still sounds like a miserable slog (and this is coming from someone whose favorite games of HS I’ve ever played were wars of attrition that lasted 40+ minutes) because every card does fuckin NOTHING in both decks unless your opponent’s deck does something.
At least those other long matches had value generation and fun random stuff going on; they weren’t decks with 40 control cards…
Thoughts?
Played thru the tutorial and really took my time trying to familiarize myself with the controls, so let’s say an hour total so far. It just feels so WRONG to me.
I don’t think the default control scheme is bad, it’s just very very different from what I’m used to. Mouse controls being (sorta tiny) trackpads / joystick instead is weiiiiird to me.
I had to lower the sensitivity because I thought it was way too high. Now I currently have it at 120% I think? Still feels both too slow and too fast.
For some reason joystick controls feel much much better than the pads but I think that may be in part because in the time since I got my Deck I’ve barely used the trackpads when I play games so I’m not as familiar with them.
I bound the Q and E keys to L3 and R3 respectively because they didn’t appear to have existing bindings.
Is it just a matter of playing for hours with it feeling weird until muscle memory builds, or are there some ways I can get accustomed to it more quickly / better keybindings I can use?
Being able to play on the Deck and not have to sit at my desk would be great but as things currently stand it feels like wishful thinking.
TLDR: how do I get used to playing on Steam Deck? After going through the tutorial on it, the camera / cursor controls make me feel like I’m trying to eat cereal with a fork
Thank you.
Artist is named Leroy Steinmann (excellent work)
Not looking for duos partners, just Battlegrounds players to have on my friends list so we can play solos in the same lobby :>)
If you wanna queue up together my battle tag (NA) is Kinoko#11224
heartbreaking
things were never really going anywhere tbh... this shit just can't scale nearly as fast / effectively as "real" comps. but the turn before I finally unlocked the tier 6 upgrades and was so excited... and then i took 15 damage :(
Once a day is ideal
I just got a PS5 and I have had interest in playing this game for a while… for best performance combined with visuals, am I better off playing it on my steam deck (with an hdmi cord plugged into my tv) or on the ps5?
Note that it’s a standard ps5 digital edition, not the pro or slim or anything
Thanks!
didn't find a single fucking macaw man
and sure maybe i shouldn't have targeted titus with the flag 3 times and made it so no macaws appear, but I'm still tilted
I’ve been using my steam deck connected to my tv with an hdmi cord a lot recently, which leaves the deck as a controller with a black screen the whole time I use it. Is there something I can get that I can clip onto the front to make it so the screen is entirely covered (and thereby unable to be damaged)?
I know screen protectors exist, like the kind you attach to the screen itself, but that’s not really what I’m looking for. My current case (the JSAUX one) has a clip on shell that covers the front but it blocks access to all the buttons.
Ik this might be a very weird specific request but anyone know? Ideally something compatible with that case
Thanks
wasn't prepared for my "1 quick game before bed" to become a top 100 BGs streamer's wet dream APM game
If I were sober, not using a trackpad, and a completely different person, this would've been an easy first place
absolutely soul crushing to lose with this
(no Invincible comic spoilers please, I only watch the show) 🙏
it lingers even after washing your hands that shit’s nasty man 🤢
