Should I feel bad for all the meds I take while pregnant?

So I’ve had a hefty fair share of mental health issues and I’m finally on a few that are working really good for me. Getting pregnant was planned, with my OB & psychiatrist involved. They told me it was fine to continue my meds as the pros weigh out the cons.

And sometimes I take Tylenol a few times a week because I’m prone to migraines and something is better than nothing.

I also take nausea meds as needed.

I’m very fit i eat good and workout 5 days a week.

Some people have made me feel bad for medicating, this is my first baby. And now I’m second guessing it.

This could fix your HG

I’m not a doctor, but I was experiencing the most god awful morning sickness, I was on diclegis, promethazine and zofran w no relief. Went up in dose on my mirtazapine and boom sickness gone overnight. You can be on a low dose. It also helps with sleep. It’s an antidepressant but also a antiemetic. There’s actually studies done on it for HG. Worth a shot.

I’m pregnant and the nausea meds aren’t working:(

I’m on diclegis ( unisom & B6) zofran and promethazine. I’m STILL nauseous all day. I haven’t thrown up yet I assume because of the meds but the nausea is debilitating. I’m only 6 weeks. I can’t do this for another 6. It’s literally 24/7 nausea not just mornings. Nothing helps

I think I’m developing HG?

This is my first pregnancy. I have emetophobia. Great right. I have never been so nauseous in my life, even with unisom & B6, zofran and promethazine I’m still sooo sickly nauseous and on the verge daily. Does this mean I’m developing HG of all those meds aren’t helping? I can’t handle this. My mental health is awful with my phobia and this nausea I wanna end it all. How can I help it?

Please please tell me when the nausea will stop. I cannot handle it

I’m literally only 6 weeks and it’s so bad. I had some nausea from week 3 to now but today is a whole new level of nausea.
I’m on diclegis, zofran and promethazine and it’s still terrible. I have emetophobia which is a fear of throwing up and this is actually ruining me it’s making me want to terminate. I thought I’d be fine with meds but clearly I’m not.

What else can I do?

Debating giving up pre natals.

I’m 100% sure they’re causing me to feel so awful because on days I skip them I feel fine.
I take the gummy kind, at night after dinner and nada. I can’t handle it even with diclegis

5 weeks today and gained 6 pounds already?

I’ve been 165 for the better half of almost 2 years. I’ve strength trained for two years consistently. I’m 5’7. My body fat % is already a little higher than I’d like but I just turned 5 weeks and I’m 171.4
I feel like that’s a lot of weight to gain so fast.
I’ve never been fat, 165 is the most I’ve ever weighed but I’m proportioned nicely

( yes I do have body dysmorphia, yes I am very aware of my weight, no I do not have an eating disorder I simply don’t want to get unhealthy fat and have the right to say that as someone who’s been in the gym consistently putting in effort to stay fit)

Has anyone started diclegis early to avoid and sickness?

I started at 4 weeks ( I’m 5 weeks today) I was getting nauseous and was like
Nope. I’m wondering because I started it early if it’ll eliminate nausea all together now.

Let’s be real, everyone hates Baby showers, how can I make mine more fun?

Ok maybe not everyone but a lot of people don’t like going to them or gender reveals lol.

I have a lot of land so thankfully I can throw both of my parties on my own property, but what would make it more fun? I think I’m gonna lean towards BBQ / POOL day vibes, but I’m running low on ideas.

I’m gonna offer hot dogs, burgers, food, debating on alcohol. What else can I do?

Did anyone start taking diclegis early and skip nausea all together?

I’m almost 4 weeks and I’m going to start it soon. I have emetophobia so avoiding the sickness at all costs just wondering if anyone else started it early and if it eliminated it?
