What artists here are a higher range tempo?

Hello!

I know the bigger names on here, but I recently got more into techo, hardstyle, and just faster beats than what I usually listen to (basstep, dubstep, trance)

I'm trying to listen to all the artists some before going. Long time edm lover, I just don't recognize some of these names 😅

Help pls!! How long do I need to abstain for a Nov 20ish urine test?

Hello! I'm 26F, 5'1, 120 lbs. I semi active, like, for work but planning to work out more. My drug test will be slated for either the 2nd or third week of November. I just bought edibles, first time taking them, and I plan on taking them 1x or 2x a week until November. They are 10mg but I will take 5-10mg at a time (per day) on the weekends (so perhaps 14-20mg total every week?)

How long do yall think I need to stop before the drug test? Its in TX by the way...so they most definitely test for it. What at home tests do yall recommend as well? I plan to see how long it takes myself but until then was curious about yalls opinions haha....

(I meant to make this last night but I took my first edible last night, around 7.5mg and was BLASTED)

Flock Cameras - What can we do about it from a political standpoint?

Hey y'all!

Is there anyway, aside from totally NOT destroying property with the rumored methods, that, er, can't be said here...

Anyways, is there any push us common folk could do with the lubbock city council? Zoning? Anything? I don't have socials and a quick search yields no results. What can we do really protest the use of flock cameras? The stupid LPD had a bunch installed, and I was wondering if anyone's started some sort of initiative to get these removed.

Wardrobe changes? (first time fest camper!)

Hello!

It's me, the humble and slow village idiot asking obvious questions once more. Sorry, I have autism and sometimes I really like to hear rules/perspectives on these types of things, so forgive me if this sounds really silly and very dumb of me. I'm very nervous, you see (😅)

I've only ever been to fests that were like one day, so my first time camping at one. What is the usual way of dress code for the fest AND campsites? Like, do people put on their fits in the morning or wait until like the evening to really dress up? Do people enter the fest during the day in more "normal" clothes before changing at camp and then re-entering?

I have really nice and cute rave wear planned for the fest but I'd hate to seem like I'm trying too hard.

Like, in the morning before entry, I assume everyone mills around in "normal" clothing, right, within the campsite? And to go get food and whatnot? And then get dressed up? I'll say sorry again now bc I hope this doesnt sound like bait, I genuinely am curious!

edit: thank you guys for being so nice and informative! I really appreciate it, for someone like me this information is really important so I can adjust my routines and systems ahead of time :)

Rainy Weather and Glamping Set Up/Parking

Hello!

The more I look at the forecasted weather for the 6th-10th, the more worried I get.

Anyone that has stayed in glamping before, how prone to flooding is the area? What about the roadways/parking? I'm driving some rental car that's a sedan body, will I get stuck at any time in the glamping parking area if it rains?

Do the tents ever flood? I fly in, so I won't be carrying much...what should I expect?

Sorry, I'm really anxious and I never do stuff like this by myself so I'm very very worried and wondering if I need to upgrade my vehicle at the aiport to a 4WD suv or somwthing and if I need to possibly buy tarps when I land and then I'm wondering if I should just explode hahaha

edit: yeah i feel like an idiot now. thank you everyone for your advice!! I was stressing over nothing ^^

How is traffic leaving out of Elements monday morning?

First time goer here!

Sooo, I'm flying in and out from EWR (Newark Airport) and my flight on Monday is at 10am.

I'll be glamping, not sure if that matters, but adding it anyways.

How's the traffic leaving out of the festival? I assume I'll need to leave between 5 and 6am to make my flight, but should I plan for earlier than that? Should I try to get a later flight just to be safe?

(this may be a dumb question, but I really like to be prepared for any and all things for events like these.)

Season 6 is actually pretty good

I'm rewatching Regular Show all the through, which I've never done before, and I'm on S6 right now.

It's actually pretty good!

I was looking up opinions about the show before my rewatch (I've never made it past S5) and saw people hating on the last three seasons. Understandable. I watched this show as a kid and I remember losing interest by S5, and have only rewatched the show up until the middle of that season ever since.

Now, as an adult, I'm finally watching the series through and I'm really liking S6.

I actually think S6, aside from the annoying love triangle stuff, is like the classic stuff that made the OG seasons so good. The randomness, the regular antics turning cosmic, and the more boyish humor that I really enjoyed from S1. Also, you can tell how much Mordecai and Rigby have grown since S1, and yet they still maintain their slacker hijinks.

I love the Party Horse episode and Benson's Suit, they are totally elevated from the normal stuff we see. I'm more scared of S7 as this season actually went past my (low) expectations!

Gotta say, though, I really wish the Mordo and CJ drama just like never happened. I hated all of Mordecai's relationship drama as a kid and I still hate it now, it really brings down the show. Like damn, why can't Margeret and CJ be friends and all that ish from the Christmas episode, like, not exist. So annoying.

Did anyone else happen to enjoy this season? I'm still watching it (on the garage door episode atm) but I love it!

edit: Brilliant Century Duck Crisis Special is amazing

edit 2: Dumped at the Alter was actually good until That Scene. The cringe was so strong, I should have been wearing a hazmat suit for protection

First solo edm festival!

Hello!

So, I have never been to a major edm festival by myself before. Nor have I ever camped at one. It's funny, as I have been listening to edm since I was a knock-knee'd 10 year old (now 26), but I'm pretty shy so this year I want to take a leap of faith and go to one!

Is there anything I should know about Elements for those that have gone before? I plan on doing the glamping package (flying in out of state + I'm autistic, so this is the most accessible and safe for me :)))

Is Elements a good festival to attend alone? Any tips or things I should know would be amazing! I'm a little scared but I've always liked the edm community so I'm hoping this will be a good experience. 🩷

edit: its worth mentioning that I've gone to fests before with friends! I'm just high energy and pretty fit so everyone always ends up suffering while I'm having a blast. I've just never had an experience like this before

will we ever be the same [oc] (marinette amv)

This is what happened when I thought about whether or not Marinette ever regretted becoming Ladybug and the subsequent events that followed that decision
