I have finished my internship in production in a well known company here in Europe. I wanted to send out some emails and contact people through LinkedIn with my CV, but I was wondering, do I have to make a portfolio showcasing my experience in concerts? As an intern, I did a little bit of everything trying to shadow my bosses so I am not sure if I should just wait for them to ask me when we speak or make a portfolio. Many people in the industry know the company and know good interns emerge, but I want to give it my best shot.

Also, if anyone has any tips to approach companies with production + artist management (I have only experience in production) I would appreciate it!

Para poner en contexto, tengo dos vías pensadas de monetización y donde tengo clientes potenciales detectados: una tiene que ver con edición de libros y otra trabajo en la música

La cuestión es, que ambas tienen potencial remoto con gente de fuera de españa, ademas de presencial con gente de mi alrededor, y no se muy bien como gestionarlo, si puedo facturar todo dentro de una misma actividad, si puedo gestionarlo todo como un mismo negocio o tengo que tratarlos como negocios separados…

También me entra la duda: he leído que puedo facturar sin darme de alta como autónoma mientras no sean facturas recurrentes ni superen X cantidad de dinero, es esto factible? Me ayudaría bastante al empezar ya que quiero cobrar cuantías muy pequeñas para crecer el portafolio y no quiero gastar esos meses con la cuota de 80€

Hello! This post is to ask about the music industry in Korea right now for foreigners

I am 26 living in Europe (don’t want to say the country), and I recently pivoted and started studying things regarding the music industry. I got an internship in concert production and have worked with kpop idols in their recent tours (apart from a lot of European and American artists).

Before that, I had always been interested in artist management, development, marketing… But I didn’t want to close myself any door, so I accepted the internship and I don’t regret it

To get to the point, I am thinking about what my future holds and I have been thinking to move to the UK or Seoul, both music markets interest me (in maybe 2-3 years since I don’t know a lot of Korean yet). The thing is, I know more about how the UK market is (my brother lives there) and was wondering if someone working in Seoul could help me understand how the music industry there works.

Some questions I have regarding the Korean market in the music industry (someone working in another creative industry could maybe help too):
- Where do you think the industry is lacking people? In what areas? (for example in my country they look a lot for social media or strategy, and there is also a lot of work in production)
- Even if the music industry works through connections, are they usually open to cold emails or messages?
- How hard is the competition there? Obviously everyone wants to work in the music industry but I am talking about qualified jobs
- Is there a lot of jobs in the production concert area?
- What level of Topik should I archive before going?
- Do I have to be there or are they open to online interviews in the first stages?
- Do they normally hire freelancers?

This may be a silly ask for some people, but please take it seriously and don’t mock in the comments 🙏🏼

I am going to give a little bit of context. I have seen a lot of people on social media using tarot as a way to read certain famous people's relationship and post it everywhere. Puting aside the conversation about how unmoral it is, I am not in any way okay with that and want to use witchcraft to hopefully keep people from prying into their lives.

You may think this is a scam, but I have read her so called predictions for a few months now and what I have seen and read leads me to believe she truly reads tarot, and for people so private a lot of predictions are very accurate.

I have thought to do a spell to not let them read into their lives, but I am not sure how to do that kind of spells. I thought about adding protection to the spell, but the thing is the people that read into them do not want to do harm so that’s why I want to focus in one that doesn’t let them read into their lives, and gives confusing/wrong readings.

I am a little bit scared that one of these "fans" is a clairvoyant witch, since she says she is and actually has had very accurate predictions (about what x photo is going to be like for example, like very specific and a lot of times), thats why I didn’t want to do this at first (scared she has a protection ward or something and it bites me in the a*) but I think things have gone too far about posting things about these peoples lives for everyone to read, saying what they are going through in their personal lives with friends, work, in the relationship, how they feel… I feel they are being used by someone not kind and do not think magic should be used for things like that

I understand different people have different morals, and that people use public figures to train, but posting everything you get to engagement farm and boast about how accurate your predictions are, I think is not okay and it is disrespectful to the craft

Edit: this is more aimed at wanting to do a spell to the famous person and not to any tarot reader. I now understand tarot is not witchcraft. Also I have worked recently with these artists and I have enough information and things needed to do a spell (I didn’t want to say at first but figured out it's important for the post and I can't change the title)

Do you have any tips about how to connect and read the cards to people online? I have seen people ask for names, date of birth, astrology sings, tell them a little bit about the situation and stuff, so I wanted to ask more in a ritual way of doing things. For example, do you have any tips on how to connect to the person after they give you data?

I am new to this so I don’t know if there are some exercises I can also do to help with my intuition reading about people that are not in front of me

I work right now in a company as a production assistant. The company is not well-known as you would expect from a big company but more like that type of company that does a lot of shows and you get to know working in the industry.

I am saying this because I want to look for a job after my internship in production, and my open line is I am (), the production assistant at () so it helps me open doors. I also attach my CV with my experience, shows I have worked and showing my interest in particular things about the company I am applying to.

Without saying networking, any tips on how to approach production managers in a cold email or in a cold linkedin message? also do you read more your email or your linkedin?

Any advice on approaching guys in real life? And in apps? I sometimes match with guys for 3 days and because they don’t start the conversation I just end up deinstalling the app since I hate dating apps but at the same time I want to try them

I am looking to help artists remotely but I have a lot of different ideas, wondering where I should start: product launches (strategy), career strategy, digital marketing, helping with riders and production (not on site)… Also I have studied a lot about legal but I wouldn’t be comfortable giving legal advice 100%

From an artist perspective, what is something they need usually help with and there are not many people willing to help or know how to? I feel like for example digital marketing is so saturated and there are tips everywhere already on the internet

I burned myself in the sun last summer in the butt and I wasn’t really worried since in winter I didn’t put on revealing clothes but since summer is approaching again I need help.

It has faded a little but not a lot. I use SA cleanser there and it didn’t improve… If anyone has any products or ideas… is more like pigmentation rather than a scar so i still have some hope
