I am currently in my 3rd year of my bca degree and my college is asking my batch whether we are gonna pursue 4th year as well ?? im from a tier 3 college.
previously bca was a 3 year course but now from my batch onwards its a 4 year course with voluntary exit after the 3rd year, like i can exit after 3rd year as well if i want to. But the prblm is my college didnt start on campus placements like it was supposed to start during 5th sem. we all know its a business strategy to lock us up till 4th year. if placements got started at 5th sem then so many students would've left if they got placed or not. So i went to the head of the placement cell with my parents regarding this stuff and they told they will start bringing companies from 7th sem onwards but i found that kinda sus tbh like that didnt sit right with me. Anyways my college has a good placement history compared to other private tier 3 colleges like most students get placed with an average package of 3.5lpa-4.5lpa so i was really looking forward to that and am still looking forward to it but the motivation in me is dead for some reason
