Not sure what to buy as a new rider but don’t want to outgrow a bike too quick.

So I decided to get my moto license in my 40s. For the last two years I have been riding e bikes, nothing crazy, tutio surrons. I got my endorsement and am looking to get into a sport bike. What I would hate to do is buy a supposed beginner bike and look to upgrade in a couple months. I originally was looking at a Ninja 500 and KTM 390. I’ve now moved off those and am considering an Aprilia 457 or Ninja 650. I’m not even sure those would be the right choice. I’m athletic, coordinated and pretty disciplined. My main goal is to eventually get a Panigale V2 after about two years of riding. My question is which bike or bikes should be at the top of my list and should I be looking at anything else maybe a bit more powerful then the 650 or 457. My budget is wide open anywhere from 5k-8k.

I’m getting ready to apply. What are my chances?

4.9 Gpa. Some AP classes but not in Math or Science. SAT scores not great so likely not going to submit. Plenty of clubs and leadership roles. Lead actor in several productions for the past two years. Cappy award winner. Looking to be in film and production so hoping not having AP math and things doesn’t hurt me. Have taken a couple summer Film courses at UCLA and got great feedback about my involvement and portfolio. I’d be an out of state resident so full tuition straight cash, no financial aid. Thoughts?

Can someone explain the at home testing process?

I plan on taking the test at home. I don’t have a computer as I Use my office workstation. I have just an IPad. Do I need a computer with a camera? Can I use my IPad? When it comes to taking the test how do they verify your identity, the test taking area, likely my kitchen. Also a trivial question but how do they know you’re not using any other devices to access notes.?

Just don’t understand the volatility.

No big news today, if anything all favorable news the past week. Stock makes nice moves up and the very next day gives it all back plus. Seems to be the pattern.

Took my son on a tour this week.

Flew up to NY to tour NYU. Overall I’m impressed with what I saw of the school but it wasn’t that much. Every stop was basically either the outside of a building or the lobby. Didn’t get to see dorms, were people eat or hang out, didn’t get in to see Tisch or any of the departments related to theatre or film. Can anyone advise as to the best way to get a more comprehensive tour?

My Offer to Agents!!!! Sign on Bonus.

So I read the rules and don’t believe this post is an issue. I’m going to be a senior in HS and am looking to apply to some of the best schools for theatre. Everything I have read seems to be the same struggle which is getting auditions and finding an agent. At the same time it’s pretty clear that getting an agent is who you know and lots of networking. I’m heading to NYC to tour schools this summer and get my head shots. Just the cost to fly to NY get head shots stay in a hotel is costing me and my mom close to $3k. That’s when I realized that this is a serious investment and even getting into one of the top schools if I do even with financial aid will cost 100s of thousands with no guarantee of work. For two years I have been working your basic HS jobs. Barista, camp counselor, side hustle photographer for gift cards etc. Over two years I have tried to save everything in anticipation of a move to a major city after college. What I realized is if I move to Ny I’m basically going to pay out the nose making ends meet with no guarantees of auditions or work. So I have decided to take my savings and offer a $5k to $10k sign on bonus for a 2 year commitment to be repped by an agent to get me auditions. That’s right depending on your experience and reputation depends on the sign on. I’m not looking for the best agent as clearly they would not be motivated by $10k if they are super successful but I am looking for someone that has a good track record and reputation on Broadway/Off broadway or any good audition opp in a major city. This is my way of at least getting into the biz efficiently. Some
May say this is cutting a huge corner. I say it’s no
Different than anyone else doing what they can to get representation. If I audition, I still need to win the part. If this post posts and your an agent that can help me, DM and I’ll send you my email. This is. Not rage bait so don’t troll me. Just a 17yr old taking a huge risk for the dream.

Does photographer name have an impact?

When deciding on your headshots that will ultimately land in front of casting directors do they look at who the photographer is and can that impact their decision. For instance if you use Peter Hurley vs someone else? Or does the name not matter but the quality of the pick does? Trying to decide if I should spend more on a reputable familiar name in the industry vs a local head shot person.

Question about metal material

I have a VSF Daytona and yesterday while in a meeting someone else has had on a Rolex which I believe to be real. When comparing mine vs his just based on staring at it acceoas the table it was very obvious that the metal material on mine had a much duller shine. Mine is more of a nickel shine whereas the one I was looking at was so shiny and polished. So I went to Rolex.com and started a configuration. My rep was an oyster steel and I can only assume the other watch was either some white gold or even platinum. Are there rep’s out there that are sold with a platinum like configuration. This is what I would prefer over the oyster steel look. If not I’m gonna just stick with rubber bands.

The pricing I got on the below watch was $1500. Seems high considering a lot of other posts I see. Any thoughts or opinions? Should it cost this much.

Not sure if should be frustrated or have patience

Been a bit over two weeks. Reta 2x a weak at 1.25 each. I tried breaking it up because a full dose at once makes me real lethargic the next day. Breaking it up doesn’t change that feeling. Have lost no weight. Still 190. Also doing Tesa and Glow 1.0. Each per night. Absolutely no
Change or feeling of change so far. Peps were bought from legitimate US lab from wellness doctor.

This could be a scam.

Ordered about $600 worth of peps. Rep whatsapped me and said it was snagged my customs and that I would have to wait a week to see if it was released. Of course it wasn’t released and he said he would resend. Sent me another pic of my peps but it looks like he utilized a different manufacturer than the first that was sent. When he sent me the pic he said I should receive it shortly and that he went the normal route of shipping and that there might be an import fee of $20 charged by the United States. Am I being scammed ?

What am I missing?

I was thinking about moving my son out of a tuttio into a talaria xxx. I shopped directly on the talaria website and the xxx models range from 2600-2900 and the concept low $2000. I figured I would try the pre owned market and people are selling there used Talarias some over $3000 and in some cases close to $4000. Why wouldn’t I just buy new and at least get a warranty and what is the reason the used market is more expensive in some cases?

I’m on a mission to buy as many Evelyn TPM 16 for my wife. I search multiple sites and usually find new with tags and am paying anywhere from 2800-3400. I think this is an acceptable practice for even paying a slight premium. I mainly get most of them on EBay. Anyone have any thoughts on this and do you have other sites. I found the most popular sites like realreal to be expensive.
