Trying to re-create something for my company for a model at the same time I’m talking my manager into us getting some 3-D printers as well as some CAD training

I was able to successfully re-create a small component for one of our models using Tinker CAD and now I’m trying to print it but it’s very stringy

Could this just be that my filament I’m using (Petg) has moisture issues or could it be other settings that I’m not aware of that I could change but I’ve tried to print this twice using two different PETG filaments and I’m getting the same results

And I haven’t tried pla yet but I prob should just to see if that works. It doesn’t need to be Petg

I work for a large service company and I’ve been trying to convince my manager that we need a 3d printer in the office and subsequent CAD training.

I have a printer at home and like everyone else, I love tinkering.

Anywho, we have a model of one of our parts we install and my boss has asked me to make a few replicas

How would I easily make these circular ridges? It’s not threads. It’s just for looks

I can handle the top part. I’m just having trouble figuring out how to make the rings

My mother in law had a 2019 Jeep Wrangler 4 door.
It’s totaled now but I found her never used tube doors in my father in laws shed helping him clean it out.

She basically told me she bought them when she got the Jeep in 2019. She picked them up when they finally arrived at the dealership, but it was already winter time and then they were just put in the shed.

I’m gonna try to help them sell the tube doors does anybody know a suggested price or what brand these ones are?

I was tired of using old egg cartons to house my chicken eggs. We have 30 hens and while we do give away 1/2 of our eggs, we never get the cartons back.

So I usually keep the eggs in the oldest cartons I have to save the good ones for when I give eggs away.
