I recently moved into a "luxury" apartment that came pre-wired with a Sonos Amp inside the utility closet, powering two passive ceiling speakers in the living room.

I just bought a Sonos Arc Ultra for the TV. Because of the layout, I managed to hardwire both the Arc and the Amp via Ethernet.

Here is my issue:

The "Default / Surround" Method (Sounds Terrible): If I set my Apple TV to default "Receiver Speakers" (so audio goes through the HDMI eARC port to the Arc) and use the Sonos app to bond the Amp/Ceiling speakers as Surrounds, the audio completely dies. The system sounds incredibly flat, dull, and completely neutered.

The "AirPlay" Method (Sounds Great, but a hassle): If I go into my Apple TV settings and manually route the audio via AirPlay to both the Arc Ultra and the Amp at the same time, the room fills with sound and it sounds incredible and punchy. (Note: In this AirPlay setup, the Sonos Arc and the Amp are kept as two completely separate systems/rooms in the Sonos app, not connected through surround sound). But doing this means the Apple TV remote won't control the volume properly, and it drops the connection every time the TV turns off.

My Current Setup: Right now, my best workaround is just using the Sonos Arc Ultra alone via HDMI as the default receiver speakers. It sounds good by itself, but it feels like a massive waste that I can't actually utilize the pre-installed ceiling speakers with the Amp without ruining the soundstage or dealing with AirPlay bugs.

I know ceiling speakers aren't "ideal" rear surrounds, but why does bonding them make the whole system sound so quiet compared to just grouping them?

Is there a hidden setting to make the Surround configuration sound as full and loud as the AirPlay group, or should I just keep them as two separate rooms in the app and group them manually?

Appreciate any advice from anyone who has dealt with these pre-wired apartment setups!

Hey everyone, I just placed an 18-minute pickup order for a MacBook at Micro Center. The order went through, but I haven't received the final "Ready for Pickup" email yet.

I just checked the website, and the configuration I ordered is now showing completely out of stock at my local store. Does Micro Center's system automatically drop the online stock counts when you buy the last one, or am I likely going to get a cancellation email? Thanks!

Coming from an Oled, my new place needs a bigger TV, 9 feet viewing distance. Im thinking with my 1K budget , Miniled is a good choice. my place is pretty bright during the day.

I've never bought speakers or a soundbar before. My current apartment comes with a Sonos Amp connected to ceiling speakers. On my Apple TV, I can connect to it via AirPlay, but I'm experiencing some audio delay.

The Sonos Amp is located in the utility closet. Interestingly, I noticed that all the speaker wires are hooked up to just the left channel, and I'm not entirely sure why. Only the power cable and those speaker wires are plugged into it.

I'm trying to figure out: what Sonos soundbars are compatible with this setup, and how would it all connect?

Title is wrong: But its mainly how to have preset that i saved, loaded into my enterprise laptop without motiv?

My enterprise laptop does not allow Shure Motiv to be installed. I tested the app with my eq settings on my personal laptop and it sounds perfect. Is it possible to "save" the EQ settings on the mic and just plug and play on my enterprise laptop without the application?

I hate how Funcom just keep nerfing things that are fun, attractor field, stamina, electric gun, why not just make more unique harder enemies that force you to use other weapon?

I’m not sure if others are experiencing this, but in recent years, I’ve noticed that if I go to the gym intensely and get the soreness, I have trouble sleeping at night compared to my usual self. I usually train around 4 p.m., and after training, I feel amazing, of course. However, when it’s late at night, the soreness kicks in, and it just affects my sleep quality. I used to take BJJ classes too, and that affects even worse because it’s tiring to my body. And I’m pretty sure I’m not overtraining either because I only train about 4-5 intense sessions per week (45 minutes each). I stopped training for a week and Im able to sleep so much faster.

My training are just mainly weights now. Is it because i need cardiovascular exercise ?
