Guys, does this give thriller vibes 😭😭

Tbh I get more romantasy vibes, and more crime/thriller. Though if you look at it with a presumption that it is a psychological thriller - then it does kind of give the vibes.

For context - She's a florist who kills people. Hence the flowers.

The second one is just so plain, but it does have the vibes.

Which one do you think is better? Also, are there any filters or anything which I should use to make the picture more eerie? Because I love this picture(found it on pintrest, credits to the artist who took the efforts for the picture), and it really captures the whole concept of the book.

Tired of the same reused plots? Here's something new :

🎥 TRAILER : https://youtu.be/6NPbnNINsyI

"I didn't mean to kill him. At least, not the first time."
---
Behind the quiet charm of Amelia's flower shop lies a carefully cultivated world-one where beauty masks something far more deliberate.

Every bouquet is arranged with precision.
Every choice carries meaning.
Because in Amelia's world- the flowers always find a way.

🖤🔪🖤

📌 BET - No one can guess the plot twist. Even though it was right under your nose this whole time. And when it is revealed... you'll have to read the book again.

You can't tell me this isn't lingerie.

I like K-pop a lot, where they usually wear slightly more clothes, so initially Katseyes outfits came as a total shock. But I eventually came to accept it, because maybe they're just trying to be more like western artists.

Their outfits have be under major discussion after Cochella week 2, but something I noticed was that they don't even fit the freaking theme of the song. These outfits have just one goal and that is to be as revealing as possible. Megan is literally wear a bathing suit and she has a see through table cloth in front of her. This isn't even "sexy" atp - it's just plain weird.

I mean, what the hell are their stylists thinking? Just why? Majority of fandom is female, and I do not want to see so much skin will I'm tryna eat breakfast.

I hate how men always blame women and feminists.

nearly_72_of_suicide_victims_are_men_marriage

Only the first comments makes sense. The rest just downgrades into stupidity and blaming women, cause that's just what Indian men do.

Marriage is a lot more complicated that just "wife". It involves society, family jobs etc. Most people who suicide do it because of money problems, and they just happen to be married. It's not marriage exactly that's causing the suicide.

They're blaming women because they apparently "cheat". Statistically, men are more likely to report cheating than women. Data from the General Social Survey (GSS) shows that roughly 20% of men and 13% of women report having s*x with someone other than their spouse. So, blaming woman here is stupid.

Maybe it's because woman generally can have more emotional conversations. I remember suggesting that maybe instead of replying for females to be there therapists, men should talk amongst themselves as well. A man legit commented "it would be so weird if i start doing that with my friends.", it would be weird to some people if a woman goes to college, but we still do it. Stop acting like victims, and start taking some action.

A 30 year old dating an 18 year old is pedophilia and you can't change my mine.

Yesterday, someone posted "dating requirements" on a woman's space on reddit. Being a girl who maintains journals and stuff - I had the most perfect list ready, and I posted it in the comments, with the vibes of girls sharing crushes on sleepover.

Next day, I have 6 men DMing with stuff referencing my list.

... should've seen that coming.

Regardless, I message one back, to tell him that he was messaging a freshly turned 18 year old, and that he should be more careful next time. This dude is 30, and he's like "no problem". I was like, "it should be a freaking problem." His response was "you're an adult, so it shouldn't be a problem."

And that screams pedophilia.

Maybe I am 18. Legally an adult according to the law. But mentally I'm still in Highschool, while he was working a 9 to 5, earning his own money.

The problem isn't me being 18, it's him hitting on me because now I was "legal". If 16 was considered "legal" by the "law", he would still be hitting on me. God, he would hit on a 12 year old if she was considered "an adult".

I thought, maybe he was a rotten egg from the batch. So, I messaged another one. I tell him I'm 17(instead of 18), and he's 23. He first goes "ew you're a minor" - which exactly the response I was looking for. You know, I actually felt proud of him for a second there for doing the bare minimum.

But then this pops up.

"When's your birthday?"

... this is the exact reason why I don't trust men. Not even one. Just nope.

(Someone might say, "just don't text 'em". Well, me not texting them doesn't reduce them, and I like yelling at pedophiles. So yeah.)

When I entered my book in a Review Shop, this was the last thing that I was expecting.

I started writing this book about a month ago. As I write a very niche genre, I wasn't getting a lot of views. So I entered by book in a review shop this morning, and at night this review pops up on feed.

This, by far, is the sweetest thing anyone's ever said about my book. I felt a little insecure about my writing, but this helped a lot with restoring my confidence.

The Review Shop was conducted by DreLeonWrites. Thank you so much for the glowing review!

So, to all the authors who feel like they're not getting enough engagement, just keep writing! You'll eventually find a group of readers who appreciate your work 💞💞

(I'll add the link to the review shop and my book in the comments in case anyone wants to check it out)

So fucking sick and tired of authors plagiarizing my book!!

I know my work is great. It's fucking amazing, if I'm being honest. But I never get recognition because all the big authors are copying from me!

Y'all probably don't know me— and that only because I NEVER got credited by these "authors". Like seriously, can't they be original??

In the Harry Potter Series the word 'the' appeared 51,798 times, that means she plagiarized by whole book twice! Never even mentioned me one.

You still don't know me?

I'm THE author.

So, please stop copying. Give me credit. Or my editor will sue you guys.

Which one is better? [suggestions for new cover pls]

Image is from Pintrest, and cover is made on Canva (by me).

BTW the book is about a florist with a dark past who kills men. So, does the cover fit the theme? Is it clickable?

I'm thinking of making a new cover as well, so suggestions are appreciated!

This is why only women should comment on women sub cuz WTF

The very first comment I see when I scroll down. Honestly, I never expected a lot from men, but this is a whole new low.

BTW this was not some circlejerk sub, it was 'india discussion'.

u/whisper_kitten0 — 14 days ago

On a freaking snark sub, and somehow I am the one with the "parasocialism" problem. (BTW the post was majorly about hating on fans, rather than megan)

Women inherently have it a lot harder than men. It's a genuine fact. It's almost the same as colored people having it harder than the white people.

Women have to face prejudice, pay gaps, violence, sexual harassment and what not on a daily basis. If a man and a woman's financial situations are exactly the same— woman would have it harder in this time period.

Which is exactly why I find it so funny when men complain about woman having an "easier life". Their complaints often revolve around ideas like, the dating scene is easier for women, and women can more easily choose to stay home and not work, women often get promotions because they look good.

Since we are talking facts here— yes, these facts, currently and unfortunately, are true. But that doesn't directly imply that woman have an "easy life" overall. I see posts which say "woman have it easier just because of the above problem, when these men seriously cannot be comparing that to what women have to face daily, i.e. prejudice, pay gaps, violence, sexual harassment.

Not to ignore the fact that these "easy things" for woman are more often problems that solutions.

Dating scene easier --> we get harassed more often

Homemaker --> we aren't allowed to go out and get jobs

Promotions for good looks --> most of the time our hard work is over looked.

(Here "women" by a man's definition, is "attractive women", because unattractive ladies get treated very badly, on the other hand.)

By facts, women have it harder. So, men look absolutely ridiculous when they compare. Did I compare here? Yes, I did. But I'm not putting men down. I'm not saying their pain deserves any less recognition. I'm just saying they should stop comparing and putting down women.

(sorry for the long post, the feminist in me cannot stay quiet tho 🥲)

When men give "compliments" to women, 99.99% of the time they're trying to sleep with us. They always expect something in return.

A women appreciate the compliments more when it comes for a women, because we know it's genuine and we know there are no strings attached to it.

So, why the hell do men expect women to compliment them?

Because they want validation. Which is absolutely fine, a person, man or woman, can want validation. But that is exact reason why women won't compliment men, because they don't want to lead that guy on.

But in the end— it just compliments that men seek. This kinds of memes are all about men whining how they don't receive enough compliments.

But when was the last time these men complimented their friends? Once in every never. I give a lot of compliments every single day because I think my friends deserve it. The main reason why I get complimented back is because I put in efforts to appreciate other women.

When was the last time they actually put in efforts to be complimented? Many women put on face masks, do a lotta beauty treatments, if not that they put efforts into their outfits, workout etc. Some women do it more than the other, others don't do it as much but both of the parties put in some effort.

In conclusion - Guys should learn to compliment their homies, instead of expecting women, as usual, to do all the heavy lifting.
