I applied to a job within my company, but it’s more a “sister” company under the same umbrella in a way. Their consulting side of it. Completely separated from what I’m currently doing. I got the job offer, and because it’s within the same company “umbrella” I had to get my managers permission to even apply and move forward.

Long story short, I got the approval, interviewed, and got the offer. I accepted. After that, my manager moved and a new manager came in. My new manager has told the soon-to-be-manager that my new start date needs to be December 1st so that they have time to properly train someone to take over my current role.

I work in Customs/Logistics so maybe I can understand because I’m on a large account by myself and will need to properly train someone before I leave, but 3 months is insane. I was excited to start my new role, and my soon-to-be-manager also was excited because she called me and told me she will continue to push for a sooner date, but it’s ultimately up to my current manager to approve.

Is this normal? I’m frustrated because if I found a different job elsewhere, they’d simply get 2 weeks - but because it’s within the same company “umbrella”, they get to make it a 3 month wait so they have coverage.

Hopefully this means they’re done with her.

I truly think TFP (rightfully so) has lost most of her deals. Even her Tik Toks/Instagram posts have had a different feel to them, like they’re lazy and she’s doing her own editing now.

All her stories have the Instagram blur filter, and all her videos are lazily chopped together without a second run through it seems. I remember they at least used to be watchable, now it looks like she’s doing it herself (and poorly).

She has to be worried about the lack of work/deals, right? How does she expect to make money if she keeps burning herself into the ground?

But then again, she is always “working”?

What’s the point of this when they are 100% claimed within 3 minutes? Had my app open and ready, then when I clicked the Starbucks card it said “error” so I closed the app, then the app wouldn’t open until 3 minutes later where it showed 100% claimed.

Has anyone else seen Michael Che live? I saw him last night in Portland and have some thoughts… just want to see if I’m alone in said thoughts.
