Can't find an assistant gig

Graduated last month and was hired as an assistant. They were using illegal BB formula and told them I didn't want to use it (for my health and also, my license) I was fired. Now I can't find another assistant gig, anywhere! I really just feel like I need more training with color technique before I launch on my own. Looking for advice

Kid safe grout

Hello! I'm teaching kids art class and we are doing a mosaic project. Does anyone know the safest scout to use for them? Finding disposable gloves to fit their hands is very difficult.

Illegal Chemical Usage

Will preface this by saying, I know that there are a lot of chemicals in California that are not banned in other states. My salon is currently using Brazilian keratin that is banned in the state of California. There are multiple people doing them in the salon a week and it is causing my eyes to burn and I get dizzy. What do I do? I would feel awful reporting them but there is a reason it's banned here. Looking for solid advice

Air bnb vs hotel

I am really pondering which to choose from! I have booked both and am able to cancel both. The idea of being able to relax a day or make our own food sound pleasing, but it is definitely more expensive. Having my room tidied also sounds great. Thoughts?

When and what to forage

We live in a very bug potent climate, and I have a big loving 11 year old. What bugs can we feed to our beardie, and at what age? He's currently 8-10 weeks old.

Daughter diagnosed with "mild lupus"?

Hey all. my daughter, 18 was sort of diagnosed at age 16 with lupus. Her blood work showed a bunch of things that pointed in that direction and she had some symptoms like achy joints, extreme exhaustion, no matter what, and occasional rash. But the rheumatologist that we saw the time did not seem to think it warranted medication outside of some things for her heart to regulate the rhythms. Well, it's been two years, and she seems to be getting a little worse, she's in her last month of school and it's definitely been grueling for her. She had her bloodwork redone and the doctor said that it looks like mild lupus again we have an appointment with a new rheumatologist, but it's not until October cause anyone here been given that sort of if he diagnosis? Also, I'm just looking for some encouragement for her. She's so tired of being tired at only 18 years old.

My new beardie doesn't seem very interested in food

My 6 week old beardie just die at seem too interested in food. I have given him crickets and dubias the size of between his eyes. When I put them in his tank, he doesn't go after them really. I would say he's only eating a few per day. I even tried feeding him with tweezers but he is not interested. Any tips?

3 days of bliss.. sort of

So we have a 1 month old guy or gal, we've had him 3 days. We are obsessed. However, he hasn't been interested in the crickets hoping around. He has eaten the tiny meal worms offered. When do I start worrying? I do think the crickets are large, but that's what they gave me at the store for his size. Also, will crickets eat meal worms? That was my other worry. Yes we have a uvb it came after I took this photo

Psych!

Wouldn't it be rad if the "last episode" was a psych and they go back in time and it's like what not to do for Alice and Kat and Elliot. And then there is a season 5! Like maybe that's why they are pushing social media posts, because it's not actually over!!
