Tried out a stretched front end on my 24. Handled pretty sweet for very specific things and looked cool! Servo and front body mounts interfered with each other so I’m back to regular front links. It was a fun tinkering session 🤠
What tires are ye running on 0.9” wheels? The stock setup on the fair rc tacoma black mamba leave a lot to be desired.

I also find it pretty funny that all three of my rigs have nearly identical wheelbases. Maybe a millimetre in the difference. Powerwagons running extended links otherwise itd be quite a stubby lad compared to the other two

So I’ve ran into a problem adding weight to my front axle. Fms have changed the design slightly and ive already bought some brass that doesnt fit my brushless powerwagons axles.

Im a bit sick of the rubbing im getting with the lc. I want to stay with my current tires and stock suspension setup. Has anyone found some larger flared fenders available online?

Im surprised i havent been missing the k10 body on this build but ive always been a huge herbie fan and the weight savings have made the stock motor come alive again! I must weigh the current setup but at 241grams before the body swap it started feeling sluggish and needing too much gas to move from a stop.
Went out for some amazing burgers with an old friend yesterday then brought him out to a local abandoned quarry for a session with my two fms rigs.
Got him hooked on rc now 🤣 although he has his eyes set on bashing 🤠
A little suspension talk and recs. Im currently running injora shock absorbers and theyre really pretty disappointing. Ive (probably correctly) filled some 20wt fluid into them and theyre crap compared to the stock shocks.
What upgrade shocks have people found are as nice feeling as the stock ones but with greater suspension travel?
Jesus town is swarmed with midges and flies today. I dont remember it ever being so bad especially in the morning. Ive atleast had plenty of protein on my cycle to work today 🤣🤣
The brushless lc80 has got me hyped on going fast and sliding around. Im going to be shopping for a basher soon for sure! 🤙

Been a solid minute since i took the lc80 out for a spin. Felt mostly out of its depth on this part of the seawalls but we found some routes up and down them 💪
The black sleeper had to keep its stock wheels and suspension travel. Its got lots of little injora brass bits bolted on and overdrive in the front axle.
Wideboys got meus wide axles, brass wheels, overdrive in the front and steel driveshafts atm.
Im especially happy with how the sleeper runs, its fairly planted, can take some decent side hill, climbs, descents and hasnt gotten too heavy for the stock motor.
Wideboys feeling a bit sluggish as its 50grams heavier. It might still be getting a bit of tire rub on the body but i think the wheel and axle combo is just too much for the motor. Btw like many others i had to grind down the meus steering knuckles to fit the wheels 🤠🤣
First proper outing with my powerwagon since installing longer rear links and trimming the cab right down.
I think its deserving a set of dedicated rear links and driveshaft instead of the hammy downs from my lc80 fcx18. Going to treat it to some and brass knuckles for the rear end next payday 🤙
