How much doubt/questioning is normal in a relationship?

I (F23) have been with my gf (F23) for almost a year now. We love each other a lot, we have similar ideas for the future, I never saw myself in a serious relationship this young but since I met her things have progressed consistently and throughout I’ve continued to feel like I want to be with her and have a future together. When things come up we’re always able to hear each other out and work things out, we always come to the conclusion that we love each other and we’re going to communicate and put each other first.

Yet sometimes I have doubts that we’re entirely compatible, I’m guilty of comparing her (not to her face) to my friends who’ve known me a long time, which ofc we can’t control when we met. She talks less than I do and while I’m more extroverted, sometimes I feel that I have no idea how she feels about things, deeper things like our relationship. I don’t know if it’s my own trust issues because she’s very affectionate and I don’t doubt that she loves me or wants to be with me. But sometimes I’m like, is this really working?

How much doubt and confusion is normal in a healthy relationship? Are people in love always convinced it’s the right and perfect thing? I know love is compromise and not always perfect. But how much compromise/imperfection is okay, and when does it become, like, is this truly making me happy all the time?

TLDR: I don’t know how much doubt is normal in a relationship, especially when the relationship seems like it should feel good all the time.

Rec soccer or basketball teams, young adults?

I want to get back into playing soccer (basketball would be fun too) casually, I’m not that good but I have a lot of fun. I want to join a team but most I’ve found are very competitive or all adult men. I’m a 23 yo woman and I’d love to play with more people in my demographic lol. Does this exist in Longmont?

Help me find a TikTok from 2019-2021 ish

It was about 30 seconds, a 20-something white guy says something like “what if I took timothee chalamet and I shaved him til he was smooth, and I spun him like a globe and he’d say WEEEEE and I’d say NO TIM, the earth doesn’t speak!!” The man gets increasingly aggravated and distressed as he speaks.

Pls help, it made my best friend and I laugh so hard!!

Can’t sleep very well with my gf!

My girlfriend (23F) and I (23F) and I have been together for almost a year now, and most nights I spend with her I just don’t sleep very well. It takes me a long time to fall asleep, and then I wake up a few times in the night. We both have a full size bed, sometimes we're in a queen at my parent's house. In the morning (if we both don’t have to get up for work) I find myself awake before her (which I never would be if I was alone, I love my sleep lol). Sometimes I’m in a half sleep half awake state which isn’t great either.

I can sleep with other people, friends, family in the room, even sharing a bed. I don’t mind sleeping in unfamiliar places if I feel safe. So I’m not sure why I can’t fall asleep easily with her. I feel safe with her and at her place, it happens in my own home too. It happened with my ex too but I wasn’t with her very long so I didn’t think much of it.

Does this happen to other people??

TLDR: I don’t sleep super well with my gf, even though I feel safe with her and sleep well on my own and with other (non partner) people. Not sure why!!

Mercury in retrograde

Can someone explain what mercury in retrograde really means?? I’ve been feeling off for the past few weeks and a friend mentioned mercury is in retrograde, and I’m curious about the science behind how it affects humans. Also, does it affect different signs more intensely?

Mercury in retrograde, affecting Leos??

I’ve been having an especially emotional few weeks, constantly questioning my relationship and feeling down. I just learned that mercury has been in retrograde for a few weeks and I’m not usually one for explaining my emotions that way but I’m wondering if it’s affecting others too.

Also if you know about these things, I’d love to know if mercury in retrograde affects each sign differently ie: would I be more affected as a Leo?

Gf is friends with her (toxic) ex, need advice!!

My gf and I have been dating for 8 months, and she’s told me a bit about her last big relationship. The ex cheated on her multiple times, my gf stayed with her every time, and then ex dumped her (months later I think). They stayed in touch and from what my gf has said the ex basically told her all of the things my gf did wrong in the relationship. It doesn’t sound like giving feedback was entirely mutual either. They took some space but saw each other a few months later and have stayed in touch.

Now my gf and I have been together for 8 months and things are going really well, it’s obvious she cares about me and makes an effort with me. I don’t doubt that she likes being with me! Recently she saw her ex gf again (for the first time since she and I started dating) and they were together for 4 hours. They were at her ex gf’s house (apparently my gf wanted to see her dog). And when I saw my gf after she said it was just like seeing an old friend.

I’m confused bc she’s never given me the impression that she’s not completely with me. But my cynical brain cannot comprehend why she would stay friends with someone who hurt her multiple times. I’ve brought this up and she’s said that yes she hurt her and she would never go back to her, but she doesn’t want to lose her from her life. Is that bc she’s still attached to her in some way? Can someone truly be friends with an ex that hurt them? I know it’s been more than a year since they broke up but I’m still suspicious that she secretly wishes she could get back with the ex, even if it won’t actually happen.

Pls help!! Is this normal?
