Crazy how a new haircut brought out my natural pattern I thought I lost for the last 25 years!!

This is my hair air-dried in both pictures. Routine for the first one was just Pantene and a dove conditioner bc I was feeling like crap and not taking care of it. while it has looked better, it hadn't in a while.

So on Thursday I got a wolf cut and the hair stylist said that I had curls and this would bring them out and I was like hell yeah I haven't seen them except some faint waves since a 2003 haircut that left me, or so I thought, straight haired forever.

Routine now: Shampoo "Opcion synergy blend PH neutro sin parabenos ni siliconas" and I'm using just a little spoon worth of the conditioning mask of the same line, as conditioner, I dont leave it in and I just tap it with the towel and do a lil scrunch it, air dry it, et voilà. I'm crazy about it. I love it! I'm not taking care of it at night and just sleep as is and wake up a bit straighter but nothing that a spray of water and a scrunch can't revive.

F/29/5'5" [104.8kgs > 76.8kgs = 28kgs] (7.5 months) 12kgs left to goal!

Found this weird picture I took with other progress pics and had to take it now lmao. still have 1/4 of way to go but already feeling so much better!

CICO + Lifting 3x - 2x per week - and GLP1 to treat metabolic syndrome caused by antipsychotics (did not gain weight but was not able to lose more than 100g per week unless I put myself in a dangerous deficit)

can't wait to get to goal and to continue body recomping once I start maintaining 👏🏻

Redefining a goal now that I'm closer to goal weight... (tw mention of previous ed)

hi all, so I'm currently losing weight, from a highest of 104.8kgs and now sitting at 78.4kgs. GLP1, Strong deficit and Gym. I've been over 75 since around 2017 and slowly ballooned up with a few tries and losing 10kgs then gaining it back and more. so it's been a while. and before that, I sat around 65-68 comfortably. but at the moment I had a very bad relationship with my body image, a shitty ex that would make it worse, and a raging eating disorder that went on and I think I'm "clean" since 2024. not that I'll ever be normal around food but I guess that's on having an ed since 2010.

My current and main goal is 66kgs, to be just out of the overweight category (165cm) and I like what my body used to look like back then. But of course, I was younger and looked better than I will now because of all the weight changes and also age. I'm thinking that maybe I could try and get to 60 once I'm down to 66, but don't know if I'm falling into older patterns. 60 is perfectly healthy for my height and I know I could sustain it (or have it as an all time low and stay between that and 63-65 max after that). idk. I know I want to be strong too so I'm strength training and maybe that will also make me look way different than I expect once I get to 66 disregarding age and stretched skin etc. I also want a breastlift and reduction and some weight will be gone there and I think I want to be as lean as I can for that surgery, but not too lean so that I suffer with the ladies growing after the surgery BC of fat (or just hormones). I think that's a major factor since if it were just getting to a weight I can just wait and see lol. my hope is to be at my main goal weight by end of year or march next year.

anyway end of rant/vent, hope you all are having a great day and journey. sorry for the rambling!

It's coming back... with a vengeance

Hi everyone, first post here. In 2024 I noticed the syncronicities of my massive depression + ADHD + anxiety bout and my cycle, talked with my therapist and psychiatrist and the latter one prescribed risperidone for my symptoms which at the moment were debilitating. I was frozen. Eventually the meds did an amazing job and I started to feel alive for the first time... ever, or since I was very young maybe, and it was awesome. This year my psych suggested to end the risperidone treatment and I was like of course! since I also was/am dealing with metabolic syndrome because of it and going off of it made sense. also in treatment with tirzepatide. ok so now, a few months off risperidone and I'm starting to feel very weird. The thoughts are not fun, and around 10 days before my period... they begin. I've talked to my endocrinologist and she referred me to gyno so that they can put me on contraceptives. I haven't been on them since like 2021 because I had my tubes tied... but before that I was on them non stop since 2012. I don't know what to expect of the treatment since it's also my most mentally stable (except the pmdd lol) moment since I ever took them so I'm just wondering.

overall i'm very annoyed that I'm going through this again. I don't know if some feelings/thoughts I'm having are genuine or due to the insanity this causes me. I'm scared the pills won't work and I'll have to go on risperidone forever and my metabolism will be fucked. or that the contraceptives will fuck with it. idk. I'm working hard to lose weight too and I'm scared it'll revert that so i'm overall a mess.

tomorrow I pick up the pills and we'll see where it takes me

sorry for rambling :(

Deadlift 55kg 1x5 (stronglifts 5x5) - Beginner (more in caption)

I uploaded one that was very ugly 2 months ago when I came back to the gym just 2 weeks in and feel like I have since improved a bit using your feedback! I am using a 10kg short bar so I can use the 20kg full height plates.

What I know and what I wonder:

- on the 1st lift I pull with my arms instead of pushing with legs

- then 2nd 3rd and 5th felt right

- on the 4th it felt mixed tbh.

- Im not sure if the way I drop the weight after the last one can cause issues.

- the pants are not the best, for other lifts I had them inside of my socks but they were uncomfortable for this one so I left them out

Thanks in advance!

F29 165cm / 5'5" 104.8kg -> 84.1kg. Halfway there! 5 months.

Started on MJ January 13th but Ive been on a journey since 2024. the jeans that initially wouldn't go past my hips now fit loosely :) Im only halfway there but I'm so happy to be here already! I feel like I recovered the original proportions of my body even though I'm still big :p

Squat 5x50kgs. Im wondering if the ROM counts as good squat or if I should go deeper

Mostly title but any other constructive criticism comes in hand of course. I know I can hit a bit deeper with a wider stance, and while I did that today too I didn't film it, but I'm uploading this because I do switch it up since I'm trying to find my best squat lol.
