Cosplay repair

We have FanX here in Utah and I am planning on volunteering and noticed the cosplay repair option. I’m petty good making things from electrical to mechanical.

Just wondered what Is the experience like for that job at a convention

First surgery done

Well the left eye is done. Felt some things no pain just ok something is happing. Told to focus on the three dots. They did drug me but nothing like I ever had. 25 minutes it was done. I can see through the guard and it a relief.

Update: what a difference all the whites are vibrant, the Right eye which is being done in a couple of weeks is a warm white. All lights and outside are way too overpowering. Not complaining just such an improvement!!

Adhesive sheet

We are going to apply thin PETG. door signs (6”x9”)to our cargo box. Door is a smooth texture. Was hoping something bigger than just double sided tape

Is there double sided sheets?

Standoffs

I am installing s panel for camping gear and fez hats. I have a space of 90 mm or 3.5” that i need to support.

I have tons of M8 bolts that I am thinking of using to use standoffs for the supports.

I am looking at Amazon, Ali and google, but not finding anything, any suggestions. Other options.

So I am using a pelican case for a joolca hottap water heater for camping. Laying flat during transport but upright when in use.

It has the latches on three side so wanting to remove the lid during use.

While the photo shows an over hand removing the lid I can then put In the tray.

Good or bad idea? Thanks
