NEED URGENT ADVICE PLS

Gave my o levels this year and some relatives told me to do fsc instead of a levels. I'm a bit hesitant because of the huge change in the systems, and also because I'm used to concept-based learning rather than ratta. Can anyone who has done this let me know if it is possible? Is it hard to do fsc after o levels/igcse? And to the people doing fsc/intermediate, how much focus is there on ratta/memorization these days?
