I have been having this problem ever since i started getting high refresh rate monitors. Whenever I am playing a game, especially a FPS game, moving my mouse side to side causes what I first thought was motion blur, then thought was ghosting, but now I think it's sample and hold blur?

It looks like when you move your cursor too fast and it has a trail of like 7 other cursors behind it, but for every texture in games when I move my mouse side to side. It's especially bad in CS2 and R6

The only thing that makes it better is lowering my sens but in CS2 especially it's getting so low that aiming is hard

It genuinely hurts to look at sometimes and just feels off. I don't think it can be motion blur or ghosting because of the response time of my monitor, but this can't be intended

I wish I could take a video of it but my camera can only record in 60fps and it doesn't capture it.

I have been playing CS for many years on many different sensitivities and I've found myself in a crisis. A few weeks ago my sens got all kinds of fucked up and I've been trying to recover it and nothing feels right.

I mainly have been running 1800dpi with .35 sens. The dpi is really high but i found it best for other games on my pc so I don't really want to lower it. With .35 I find it easier to hit shots with pistols and rifles but my tracking is slower and I feel like I'm constantly having to pick up my mouse to clear angles at any kind of speed. My mouse just feels heavy too.

But even if I bump it up to .36 it feels too fast. I can flick faster but I'm overall inaccurate. It does feel better on my hand though.

I am just so frustrated and can't think straight about it. Some advice would be really helpful. I only switched a few days ago, is this just something I am going to have to get more used too?

This is the weirdest tech issue I have had. I was trying to fix a completely unrelated problem with my monitor (Asus XG27AQDMG) and thought that turning VRR off might do something. When I did, my sensitivity got noticeably faster. Not just in games, but on the desktop too. I was in a practice CS2 lobby when I tested turning VRR off, and my aim has been completely off ever since. It just feels faster despite not changing any values.

I genuinely don't know what to do. No settings have been changed. I'm back to VRR with G_SYNC like I was before but the sens is still too fast.

I have no idea how to fix this.

Just got out of an annoying fight against an Ed that just went every time I get knocked down I get grabbed, and loop it for 3 minutes. It feels like I can’t input against it, I don’t know how to stop it

The only matches I find unbearable are the ones where I’m getting grabbed constantly. Other than that I’m loving this game

I got the game on sale today and I just don't get it yet. Every online game I play, every time I Di it gets canceled by theirs. I get put in a 12 hit combo and then as soon as I get up I'm in a grab again. It just feels like nothing I do maters and people are just hitting through me.

I LOVE platform fighters like smash and rivals and I'm pretty ok at them. I really liked Injustice 2 but this is obviously a more in depth version of that. I'm gonna keep at it but I just don't get it right now. My agency just always feels taken away.

Any tips are greatly appreciated. I really wanna love this game, and I'm not gonna give up

This problem started about a week ago and the only thing I can think that happened was a mandatory windows update. I just use default settings and never mess around with the app, so I don’t know why it’s changing all of a sudden.

The other fans are all normal though, as shown in the video, so I’m wondering if it’s a hardware problem and not a software problem. Maybe a lose connection? It gets better after I restart my pc but still keeps happening after a few hours

I have been looking into a way to make a dedicated server that is always running even when my pc is off and windrose seems to have a tool that you can use to do that, but in every guide I have seen it's never been mentioned how to actually keep the server open when you shut your pc down.

I want my friends to be able to join whenever even if I'm not here. If I have to keep the dedicated server tool running at all times, how is that different from just having to be in my game all the time?

I have had this ASUS XG27AQDMG for a few months and can't figure this issue out. Through out the day it will randomly get brighter and darker, despite hdr being off, and makes all my colors washed out for a while.

I don't know how to fix it. I tried logo detection, but I haven't messed around with screen saver dimming settings

I've always noticed this problem with high refresh rate monitors and i just cant take it anymore. I went from two shitty LG panels to this $600 OLED and whenever I move my mouse in a game there is this terrible motion blur.

When I lover it to 120hz it's not nearly as bad. The UFO test looks complete clear at 240hz though, but games are so bad

Yes, I have it set to 240hz in the control panel with G-SYNC, and I get stable 240fps capped at 237.

Any help is greatly appreciated I don't know what to do at this point.

Lost two play now games in a row because of these constant full court passes leading to easy buckets. I have on and off ball coverage on tight, but on inbounds passes my players will give so much space that these full court passes lead to such easy points.

I don’t know what to do about it. I’m already playing the tightest coverage, if I press the steal button I just tip it out of bounds, or straight to them for an easy bucket. The AI will just refuse to guard on inbounds.

The solution is not for me to just also do it. I am a man who likes to play actual basketball, and imma keep my integrity. I just need to know how to counter it when other less willful people do it
