How to navigate steam vr menu's when using ALVR?

I am using ALVR to play VR games on my PC. Everything works, however every time I load up steam VR interface, I have to pair my PSVR2 controllers in order to navigate the menus. Which is frustrating for me, because I only play MSFS 2024 which I use my xbox controller to play. Is there a way to navigate through Steam VR's UI using anything else such as using my mouse or xbox controller to move around and click on buttons?

Any one running MSFS 2024 on an Apple Vision Pro with ALVR?

I tried it in MSFS 2020 and was blown away but I am wondering if VR has been improved in MSFS 2024. I have an RTX 3090 and an i9-10900k and I was surprised how well it ran for me. I'm thinking it would look even better in MSFS 2024.

MSFS 2024 versions of PMDG 737/777 incorrect size?

I noticed the size of the of the PMDG 777 for MSFS 2024 averages around 6.5GB, this is for the version that is offered on skybound's website. For reference, I am talking about this one here - https://skybound.cx/msfs-2024/pmdg-77w

But the release by aerohub that's on suprbay's forum is 16.8GB. Which makes me wonder if the Skybound release is actually for MSFS2020 instead? Why are the size so drastically different between the 2?

Is it possible to do this using the official inibuilds manager v2 app? Or does that only work if you originally bought the plane?

Looking for the complete navigraph airac cycle. The ones on ru-tracker and offered here seems to be missing quite a lot like the active sky, little navmap, etc. It use to include everything but now it just has data for the major 3rd party aircrafts only it seems.

Apple care/Apple care one for AVP M5 confusion

I recently bought a brand new AVP from the Apple Store a month ago, and whenever I go to settings screen I see a countdown saying how many days left I have to get Apple Care for it. I've been hesitating on whether it would be worth $20/month for it. If time were to run out, is there some way I can get Apple Care later on? Or is this my only chance.

Also what is the difference between Apple Care and Apple Care One?

If I do decide to get Apple Care and pay the monthy fee, and if I decide to cancel it, could I come back at a later date to get it again?

Help me explain this

I woke up to find out that my NAS was down, so I went and open up pi-hole to see what was going on. I notice that it got knocked offline around 4am. I think there was a very short power outage. But according to the graph, there seems to be a different pattern of activities that I don't recall seeing before. I have 3 WEMO outlet plugs, and ever since the incident at 4am, they have been submitting endless queries to nat.wemo2.com. Not sure why this is suddenly happening. I've never seen so many queries to that particular domain before with my wemo outlet plugs. So why now?

I tried removing all 3 plugs from the wall, and the amount of queries definitely dropped. I then slowly, plugged back in the wemo's back into the outlet one by one. Monitored my dashboard, and I'm getting between 2q/s to 5q/s. Is this normal? The number under the Total Queries box up top just keep increasing by the second. I have also added 'nat.wemo2.com' and 'api.xbcs.net' to the whitelist under domains because AI suggested that.

usb 3.0 stick vs micro sd card

I plan on installing pi-hole, unbound, home assistant, homarr dashboard, etc. I originally bought the RPi Canakit that comes with everything including the 32GB Micro SD card and I thought that was where you install the OS and all the apps. But when asking AI, it's suggesting I install everything to a USB 3.x stick instead. What do you guys suggest?

do you guys install pi-hole directly or through a docker container?

Seems like all tutorials I've seen has people installing it directly itself, but AI is saying to install it through docker for easier managability and such.

I'm sorry ths question was aimed towards Raspberry Pi users who are running pi-hole/unbound.

Which raspberry pi is good for a pi-hole/unbound setup?

I currently have pi-hole running on my old synology 1512+ through docker and it's really bogging down my system. Since I have only 1GB of RAM on it and on top of that I have other services like my plex media server running on it too. At first it was running okay, but as time went by, it's gotten extremely slow when pulling up anything on the internet on my devices.

I am interested in getting a respberry pi for this but not sure exactly which one to get. I'm looking for something that will make the entire installation process quick and easy. I can see they sell the motherboard alone and you would have to supply your own micro SD card, power supply, fan, case, ethernet cable, etc. I would prefer an all in one solution if its available. For those who are running pi-hole/unbound on a raspberry pi, could you please help me out and point me in the right direction? Thanks.

What's the shift that starts at 12:20am vs 1:20am do?

Before I would just see the typical shift that starts at 1:20am, but now there's another shift that starts at 12:20am. Does anyone know what that shift does when they come in an hour extra early?

Steam vs Microsoft Store version of MSFS 2024: Does it matter?

I'm thinking about getting the Steam version for simplicity of the file system and how it isn't locked like the MS Store version. I already had MSFS 2020 from the MS Store before and had wished I gotten it from Steam instead. Heard there were more benefits than anything. MSFS 2024 Standard Edition is currently on sale now on the MS Store for $52 and I'm kinda tempted but been holding out for the steam version to go on sale since I missed their summer sale. What do you guys think?
