Thinking of getting one, haven't owned one before. Family of 4 coming from a RAV4, torn between this and an Acura MDX. Owner says it's been babied and has had the timing belt and water pump done two years ago and has new brakes and tires in the last year and a half. I don't drive daily, only on weekends. Will it last and is it a good deal/price?
It has 127K miles on it. I was thinking of getting one, it's got front wheel drive. Seller says they're the second owner and it's had regular maintenance from a dealership. Is it worth it and will I end up dumping a lot of money into it?
I'm looking to get an MDX but we're pretty limited with our budget, around $11K. I was hoping to get one with 100,000 miles or less on it. My main question is how old a year is too old? I'm trying to find the sweet spot with price/milage/year. We're a family of four with two boys aged 3 and 6. I like the third row option if we have friends in town. We live in Chicago and my wife and I both take public transportation to work so we'd only be using it on the weekends and the occasional trip to the burbs or a weekend away in the Midwest. I've scoured Craigslist & Facebook Marketplace but I'm a little wary of getting one that's going to end up with problems. Is there any other places aside from dealers and the nationwide websites that I could find one? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Hello all,
Need some advice on buying a Fit. My mechanic has a customer selling a 2016 EX with 68,000 miles on it for $13,000. Initially the customer was selling it for 10K but she did some research into what they were going for. The mechanic assured me it's in great condition, he's been servicing it for the last two years. The driver's door was keyed, fairly large circular scratch and there's a bit of paint missing from the front and rear bumpers.
I know it's a good deal but my wife is a bit hesitant with the price increase. We have two young kids still in car seats and live in Chicago with snowy winters.
Can you guys let me know if it'd be good for our needs and would manage ok with the weather here.
Wouldn't hurt to reassure her it's a deal for the much
Much appreciated
Future Fit owner 🤞
