How do I report a shop without a computer?

I don’t have a computer, so I “loaded the desktop site” from the mobile browser on my phone and still can’t find a way to report a shop?

The shop crochetspiritx is selling a pattern made by PeachyTCrafts and I want to report it.

Hi autoglass friends, what are your thoughts on my replacement?

There are small holes and gaps in the black (seal?) part at the top of either corner, and there are some hard plastic+rubbery pieces on the bottom corners tucked into the hood. One is ripped and both don’t seem to be completely attached.

Are these issues or nothing to worry about?

It is a 2020 Honda Civic.

Are your tattoos the same style? Did you plan them?

I see so many people with what seem like beautifully planned and laid out tattoos, but I just kinda… get what I’m feeling. I have an empty arm, so I’m trying to decide if I should just dive in, or try to plan something.

Do you have a theme? Or a style? Same artist? Or artist collector?

Any Ortho docs in here with TPLO limping experience?

TLDR: Pup had TPLO surgery three years ago. Healed well no issues. Recently she has started a new limp and two vets aren’t finding anything “wrong.”

We did X-rays and both her regular vet and the doc who did her surgery have checked her out. No idea. X-rays are great. Very mild hip dysplasia, super mild arthritis. No evidence of infection of issue with the hardware. Doc doesn’t think she needs surgery.

She is getting Adequan, she ended loading doses last month and her first monthly is the end of this month. No meds. Fish oil and dasequin supplements.

Last limp happened a handful of weeks ago. Started the day kind of stiff, but normal, then after some ball throws in the yard, big limp. She only gets leash walks to potty, so activity is already restricted on a regular basis. She seemed to do a little better after so many days, but I decided after a week with a little still there to take her for X-rays.

After that, they suggested to take her to her ortho surgeons office so he could do a check in person to feel around. He didn’t have any concerns, said she doesn’t seem like she needs surgery at this point, ACL (CCL?) is okay, hardware is okay, no restrictions necessary but keep him updated if we have more issues.

Things seemed to improve for about a week, but my partner took her to play ball for about a half an hour today and she came back with a full, no weight limp.

Already reached out to doc with a video and to ask about some carprofen while she’s this sore and waiting on them to get back. She seems pretty sad about it, so I am thinking she’s particularly sore.

What has been normal for her since surgery is a few minutes of stiffness and limping after she gets up from laying for a while, and not much else for limping besides these couple odd situations.

I’m worried that exercising and play will become restricted or put on the “no” list for her, but she is only four years old. :’(

They mentioned we might end up needing to remove her hardware. As of right now, the only suspicion is that the wire/ pins might be rubbing her and causing irritation.

At this point, I suppose I’m looking for ideas and experiences. I know removing the hardware won’t be as hard of a surgery as the original, but I hate to put her through it if that isn’t the issue.

Does anyone have any possible ideas of what else might be causing her limp or what could help? I know that’s hard to speculate without being her doctor, but I figured it might not hurt to ask! Should I insist on hardware removal?

Is “place” less about where the dog goes, and more about the dog finding a distinguished spot and going to it?

My dogs don’t know place, because I have never really understood it. They are crate trained and “go to bed” every night, or before I leave. I have always thought that their ability to do “bed” was similar enough to the mechanics of “place.”

Now I’m thinking that isn’t the case. It might be more about the dog being able to distinguish something to sit on from the surrounding area so they are almost kind of putting themselves in an invisible good boy dog jail?

I saw someone say their dog can understand place to refer to a manhole cover when they’re walking. It would be cool to be to a point that “place” could be any difference surface like a mat or different sidewalk texture, or a chair, or whatever.

Does place include a “stay there indefinitely” understanding for your dog?

I am sure there are many resources on how to teach place, so I won’t ask you to explain (unless you’d like to!), but does anyone have a favorite/ recommended training resource so I am not blindly choosing?

Why so much traffic this morning? Not even 8 yet and it’s Saturday. What’s going on today?

There might be a better place to post, but I’m being eaten alive. Please help.

I live in an apartment, I have no control over my outdoor space, but there isn’t standing water around.

I walk my dogs several times a day and I’m getting eaten alive by mosquitos.

I wear long pants and a jacket. Now that I’m covering, I’m getting bitten on my face and hands. I’m drenched in sweat when I come inside from being in 95 degree sunlight walking dogs fully covered. I can’t wear gloves and a shiesty, too.

I’m resistant to using bug spray because of my pets and because I really don’t want to have to sit around working while I’m greasy and showering to remove it every time I go outside isn’t reasonable.

It’s also unhelpful that I’m the type of person that will stand next to a group of people and I’ll leave with a dozen swollen bites, and no one else will have any. I have been prescribed tubes of steroid cream for when I get bitten because they get so nasty.

I’m desperate and in pain.

What do I do??

Just editing to say: I didn’t expect so many nice and helpful comments lol I appreciate all the bug spray recommendations, I’m going to try them ALLLLLL.

Fuck cancer, Donald Trump, and mosquitos. Bless.

Edit: I also have a cat, so for safety, I will be investigating the lemony pepperminty options, it seems. I’ve used wondercide on my pets, but not on me and always like to support a local company when I can, so I will look into that, as well as some other oils people mentioned.

I have lived with this mosquito issue in every place I’ve lived, and have been here long enough not to be surprised by it, just tired of being outsmarted by disgusting bugs. I do have allergies and take a daily antihistamine. I also am an avid garlic enjoyer. They are attracted to co2, and I’ve been told I’m full of hot air, so I think it is just my destiny to be itchy and then die of malaria. Please pray 4 me.

Thanks for chiming in everyone, I’m sorry we’re all going through this. Stay strong. ✊😔

ADAS Recalibration in Honda Civic after Windshield replacement cost

Hi all,

I’m an unknowing customer that needs a new windshield.

My car has lane keep assist, lane departure warning, all the stuff.

Every place I’ve called has quoted me $350-$400 for a recalibration, but one shop is quoting me only $150.

Why is their price so low? Should I be suspicious? They offer a warranty guarantee and free rock chips for a year. The windshield replacement itself is the same cost as other shops quoted. Just the calibration is lower.

Any thoughts?

Single color bracelet with one stripe a different color- Possible?

Hi!! I’ve made basic candy stripe and chevron bracelets, and wanted to make a black one this style with just one orange strip that is a couple of rows long.

Is this possible???? I found the “flat join” method for alpha bracelets, but I can’t for the life of of me figure out how to end the new color or account for the extra threads and I think it’s just a matter of inexperience and I possibly shouldn’t be trying something like that.

Is there another way or a more “beginner” way to get just a couple rows of a different color in a basic bracelet?

TIA!

Why do my dogs “clean” gums bleed??

We had her teeth cleaned because her gums were bleeding a bit while she was playing and while her teeth weren’t “terrible,” we opted to do a cleaning.

It’s been months (nearly a year) and we recently started seeing a new vet who commented several times about how good her teeth look, so I don’t believe it’s a matter of “it’s been too long” and it also isn’t “freshly cleaned” irritation.

The bleeding never stopped though. Some causes seem obvious, like a bone or hard toy, but bleeding wasn’t something that happened to her in the past. It started shortly before her cleaning. Even now, if she chews on a plush toy for a few minutes, I’ll find little spots of blood all over it.

It isn’t an ALARMING amount, not something that I can’t stop, and I can’t even identify exactly where in her gums/ mouth that the blood is coming from. Small amounts left on the toys, enough that her toys are icky, and enough that I frequently find myself taking toys away so she can take a break from chewing.

She also isn’t a power chewer or insane about chewing. For her, ball is life, so chewing isn’t something that’s constant or even daily, which makes me even more confused about the sensitivity. It isn’t like she’s chewed her gums raw or anything.

I do brush her teeth and there is occasionally some slight bleeding (think flossing after a week amount), but it isn’t every time.

Since she doesn’t have any actual trauma, diseases bacteria, etc…. Does she just have soft gums? I’ve never experienced this with a pup and my current second dog doesn’t have issues with the same toys.

What can I give her to play if she can’t have normal toys without bleeding on them?? Are there other issues we could be missing that I should investigate???

TIA

New glasses are giving slight funhouse mirror effect- what’s wrong?

I already typed an entire post and my phone fell asleep and the reddit app refreshed and the post disappeared so I’m really not feeling it at this point and will add additional details later if I miss any.

I got new glasses online. It’s not a new prescription. I don’t know my PD. My doctor gave me an estimation and the place I bought my last glasses from claimed it changes by pair of glasses, which was alarming.

I measured and got a number close to the estimate from my doctor and ordered them with that. I got three pairs of glasses and every one feels off. They aren’t unclear, I wouldn’t say anything is necessarily blurry, but it also isn’t sharp. I’m having a hard time describing it, besides a slightly off funhouse mirror situation. I just know whatever it is isn’t quite right.

The prescription is current and the glasses I wear daily don’t have this problem. It’s only the glasses I just bought online that have this. I’ve experienced an adjustment to new glasses when it is a new RX, but never when it’s just a new pair of glasses.

Is this a quality issue? Is the PD off? Is it because the glasses are different sizes and the optical center varies? Do I just need to adjust to the new glasses?

I don’t know much about eyes or glasses except that I’d like a pair of sunglasses so I can see when I go outside lol

Thanks for your help

I have the orange and teal clover stitch markers, and I have some I bought from Amazon in a much larger quantity. The Amazon ones I got serve their purpose, but at the time I bought them, I didn’t realize some markers might be “harder” or less flexible than others.

Now I’ve lost enough of them (LOL) that I’m ready to buy some new ones, and I’m hoping not to repeat the same mistake. Worst case, I will buy more Clover ones, but they only come in packs of 20 and I need…. Many markers sometimes.

Does anyone have any direct links to locking stitch markers that are “soft” or more flexible like the Clover ones? I believe I’m looking for a “medium” size marker.

I hope that description makes sense lol, some are easier to open and close, and some open farther, resulting in less snags on my work. The more rigid and cheaper markers also don’t open quite as far, so they’re more likely to catch my stitches while I’m removing them.

I do also use Bobby pins (big and mini lol!) but am looking specifically for the little oval padlock shaped markers right now!! TIA!
