Hi all, I recently discovered this specific kind of OCD that I truly believe to have. For a long time I was convinced of some sort of tourettes as I have plenty of tics since i’ve been a kid, but that doesn’t explain lots of other sensations, so rather than tics they are more a compulsion on that bodily function and I never knew how to describe it until now, reading about somatic OCD and checking every box.
Would love to hear anyone’s experiences and/or reflections on this and if there is a general consensus for what anyone with somatic OCD could do to ameliorate their lives.
