Wheelchair user visiting Israel

I am desperate to visit Israel and I am starting to worry that I will never manage to visit and so I am researching as much as I can.

I am disabled, a full time wheelchair user and I will be 60 next year and so if I do it, it needs to be sooner rather than later so that I am still able to self propel my chair and get around.

It would have to be on a budget as we are not very well off financially and so I need tips please.

I know the trains are accessible and so I would use a train for a day trip into Jerusalem but other than that, I would be content being wherever and just knowing I would finally be in Israe

Shut up Shrimpy

Just watched the episode with them singing during the lock in just repeating the same line from a song over and over.

Drove me mad!

Advice please

I need some advice about high pressure inner tubes.

I am not a bike rider but my wheelchair has high pressure tubes. My rims have been taped but a few times that tape has stretched into the spoke access holes and the tube has burst.

What is the best solution?

Triride L14 noise

I have been using a Triride L14 wheelchair attachment that has been life changing. I have so much freedom now.

The past month or so, it started to sound noisier, and I was worried as servicing can cost around £100. I took the wheel off and removed the motor and found that the planetary gears were dry. So I ordered some synthetic grease (synthetic as gears are plastic) and gave them a generous coating and reassembled.

It is so quiet now, and the grease was only £16 and will last a few years.

Apparently, it should be done every 1000 to 2000 miles, but the manual doesn't say how to do it.

Luckily, I am okay with things like this.

Tracking tags

I am in for day stay surgery in June, and im worried about my wheelchair.

Knowing my luck, it will be mislaid, and it's a custom fit job.

Any recommendations on tracking tags for android?

People walking their dog on a tape type lead that is 20ft long and blocking the pavement.

Every time I go out, I come across this and instead of getting control of their dog when they see me in my wheelchair, I have to stop and wait for them to reel their dog in apologising and im then obliged to say Thank you.

Is this wire thick enough?

Got some TV coax to make an aerial and it doesn't look thick enough!

Going to make one of the antennas using an N type chassis socket with the 4 legs at 45°

After many years of wanting to build an ADS-B project, today it finally went live.

I have everything ready to build my ADS-b project and I had planned to upload to FR24 but I am reading about so many other sites and all the various opinions.

What one is best and why?

I want to put the Raspberry Pi 3 in a weather proof box near the aerial on a pole and so need to run power for that and also for the filter.

Will the Pi power the filter via a lead or will I have to run separate power?

What would be your solution?

4 times today I have had the pavement blocked by cars!

This guy had 2 cars on the pavement and his excuse was his other 2 cars had broken down.

I took a deep breath!
