Every time a flex dps like vendetta or genji or something becomes relevant (except for tracer as the sole exception) everyone is quick to ban it and complain about it but the real top tiers like ashe soldier and cassidy which you are bound to see every game nobody cares?

I play venture and vendetta in top 500 and its very common to see double hitscan with a mercy pocket every game so i choose to ban cassidy at the very least but my teammates still wanna ban sombra and sierra.

The worst part is when a teammate hovers cassidy or something so i dont ban him out of respect for my teammate just for them to get gapped by an enemy cass and i have to deal with it for the rest of the game.

Anyone else relate?

Maybe I'm a masochist but I like getting my ass handed to me when it's REAL skill. Like going against a demon tracer or echo or something and pushing my game sense and mechanics to its limits to potentially come out on top.

Also that feeling when your team matches your pace and you can just feel that your team WANTS to win and actually adapts to enemy playstyles mid game WITHOUT SWITCHING. Man I miss playing on a scrim team.

Like I'll have moments where I get completely outplayed and as I'm respawning I'm just like "ok that's not gonna happen again for the rest of the game."

I like beating good players because I have an ego. I'm too competitive. I'd rather lose 10 games in a row to gm smurfs than win 10 games in a row against baby plats. if I can't adapt so be it. I also am not the type to complain about smurfs because it's free coaching basically.

I may be a level 150 high masters doom main at heart, but I still like to play dps, mainly Genji/tracer/venture/vendetta and a little reaper.

When I'm playing dps, I'm always thinking "Man I wish I was on doom that soldier with a pocket on height would be forced off so easily" and stuff like that. It just feels NOBODY plays dive any more it's just brawl mirrors every game, which might be worsened by the fact that I'm on console.

And then, even when I have a tank that opens the game on doom, it's not long before they swap EVEN IF THEIR NOT GETTING COUNTERED. I've had dooms swap to Ram on Dorado when going against and mercy moira soldier sym comp just because of a single roadhog. If I was on doom, I'd be licking my lips looking at that comp, but I guess not every knows how to play around counters.

It's not even just doom, either its dive tanks in general, but nobody plays. I can't remember the last Winston I've played with it's had to at least be a week. Your telling me nobody plays winston in high masters anymore?
