About my use for steam frame...
lol hey guys so I have been interested in VR for a while and I need to know if my use case for frame would be worth it lol I like watching movies and playing video games lol so im thinking what if I played video games and watched movies in VR haha I only plan to use it sitting at my desk though lol so would it be worth waiting for frame or buying a second hand quest lol

My wallet needs more Copium
So yeah exactly what the title says. I love Valve and my SteamDeck and I want to support an open Linux VR headset. But $1000+ Is getting to high for me. And then I still need to build a powerfull gaming PC to drive it. I'll be spending between 2-3K when this is all done.
All while I have a PS5 just sitting there and the PSVR2 is currently on sale again...

On the verge of giving up and getting a Quest.
I've waited 6 years. 6 YEARS to get a headset. I'm now a legal adult and can get one (my mom wouldn't let me as a kid). The Frame lined up perfectly. I legitimately cannot live anymore without thinking about it. I check the subreddits multiple times per day. I have trouble focusing on exams because I keep thinking about VR. I have assembled a rich library of VR games, modded some flatscreen ones, but it just WON'T release. SGF was such a letdown. Fuck this, genuinely.
