For several years now, I have been single-handedly creating a 2D adventure game about the journey of a monk and poet through medieval Japan. Players will encounter forest spirits, battle demons, help sorrowful ghosts, and write poetry.

For us, this is not just an RTS. We deliberately moved away from base building and economy to focus on what truly matters - commanding regiments and making tough decisions. We aim to capture the spirit of Napoleonic warfare, where discipline, morale, and formation determine everything.

The game features tactical battles with infantry, cavalry, and artillery, along with the impact of fatigue, positioning, and terrain. You’ll also experience dynamic battlefields with weather and smoke that can shift the course of a fight. Everything revolves around command decisions, timing, and troop control.

The project is inspired by real campaigns starting from 1796 and is being developed with a focus on conveying the feeling of commanding an army in the chaos of battle. The game is in active development, and we welcome every idea.

Solo dev offering quick Unity bug fixes & scripting to fund my game!

Hi everyone! I’m a solo developer building a fast-paced 3D character action game. Here is the latest teaser I’ve been working on!

To help support myself as I work towards my first playable Steam demo, I’m offering quick, affordable technical help for other indie devs. I specialize in C# Unity Engine.

My rates are very indie friendly (starting around $15 for quick, same-day bug fixes). If you’re pulling your hair out over a bug right now, send me a DM and let's get it solved!

Looking for Playtesters for the New Invasion Survivors Demo!

Hey everyone!

Over the past few months, we’ve added a lot of new stuff to the game, and we’re getting ready to release the new version of the demo!

I wanted to know if anyone would be interested in helping me test it, find bugs, and help with balance, and also get a copy of the game as a thank you.

If you’d like to test it, just send me a DM or reply here. I’ll start sending out Steam Keys soon.

Thanks!

And if you’d like to wishlist the game on Steam:

Короткий ролик, що передає атмосферу гри «Night Record: Thin Walls» — психологічного хорору, заснованого на реальних подіях, дія якого розгортається в пострадянську епоху.
У грі робиться акцент не на раптові лякаючі моменти, а на реалістичні локації, тиху напругу та ледь вловиме відчуття тривоги.
Місце, де спочатку все здається нормальним — доки це не перестає бути так.

Якщо вас зацікавило — не забудьте додати гру до списку бажаного.

x300 psychological survival horror game set in the Australian outback

The Overseer is already monitoring unusual activity within the Steam wish registry. The early conscripts have begun enrolling. Are you going to be one of them?

X300 is designed for psychological horror players who value atmospheric tension, grounded survival horror, and psychological dread over jump scares. If that sounds like you, then the facility is waiting.

Clearance levels are currently being assigned through Discord. https://discord.com/invite/vvZnckAJas

My small indie team has always been drawn to space, and we’re creating a survival-adventure game that tries to portray space not as we know it.

The story begins after a catastrophe. The protagonist wakes up in open space among the wreckage of ships and stations, with no memory of the past. There is no communication and no survivors - only anomalies that distort the laws of physics. The only goal is survival and the search for answers.

The only companion is S.E.M., a voice assistant integrated into the spacesuit. It helps the player navigate, gather resources, and analyze the world, but over time it becomes increasingly suspicious and unpredictable.

The gameplay is built around space exploration: abandoned stations, derelict ships, asteroids, and dangerous anomaly zones. Resources are essential for crafting tools, and every expedition is a risk.

Space here is not just a backdrop, but a direct threat. Oxygen is limited, the silence is oppressive, and the dark unknown is everywhere. Players can use a Zerocycle vehicle for traversal, along with various tools for mining and interacting with the environment.

The game is currently in active development, and your ideas may become part of the universe we are creating.

I built a free Substance Painter alternative that runs in your browser

Free, Browser-Based Substance Painter Alternative — Trumble.app

So as the title says, I built a free Substance Painter alternative that runs entirely in your browser. Just wanted to share it with the community!

It has some unique features I always wished Substance had:

  • Built-in lite photo editor — create alphas, tweak baked maps (great for when your AO doesn't come out quite right), and save directly to your asset library
  • Google Drive integration — any custom assets you import into the library are synced to your Drive, so they're available whenever you log in from any browser
  • Large material library included out of the box

It's completely free and constantly being updated, with more features planned.

Check it out at trumble.app

Would love any feedback!

Testing exploding barrel physics

Description: Set up a scene with a bunch of barrels — just to see them fly apart nicely across the area. I think it worked.

It’s been almost 10 months since we first introduced the game to the community. Since then, we’ve adjusted and improved different systems, UI, and also adding more contents based on player feedback from our playtest and early demo.

We’re still working hard on refining the experience, and next up, we’ll be joining Steam Next Fest this June! Hope you’ll check it out and support the game when the demo goes live.

Why is marketing so hard???

Im making posts like this for tiktok and X. I find X has the least interest, but Tiktok as been ok. I now have over 800 followers on Tiktok but hardly anything on X. What has been your most successful approach to marketing a new game? Please tell me, im all out of ideas.

How do you improve clarity in games without overexplaining things?

A Streamer played my puzzle game and pointed out that some mechanics/puzzles weren't immediately clear to understand.

Because of that, I added short cinematics that briefly show what changed after activating certain mechanisms, and it improved the readability of some puzzles a lot.

I'm curious how other devs approach this kind of problem.

What do you usually do when a mechanic or puzzle isn't clear enough at first glance?

Should extra NSFW features be free updates or Patreon exclusives?

Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking about something and wanted to hear other people’s opinions.

I’m developing an adult game and recently added an option where some characters can appear topless or bottomless in certain scenes. The game is still in beta, so now I’m wondering what makes more sense moving forward.

Would you rather:

- have features like this included as normal updates for everyone

- or see them used as bonus content for Patreon supporters?

Part of me feels like adding it for everyone improves the game overall, but I also understand why some devs keep extra features for higher tiers to reward supporters.

What do you think works better for adult games and Patreon communities?
