Haven’t gone dumpster diving for fanfics in a hot minute, have no idea how to find what I’m lookin for…

ANYWAYS, here’s some notes!

Anything that’s chill:
-> NSFW
-> Blood/gore/body horror (honestly preferred 😌)
-> Angst (nom nom I will EAT that up)
-> Slow burn or right into it are both fine
-> Basically anything NOT on the ‘no thank you’ list

Anything that’s no thank you:
-> VERY specifically any fics with one of them being ace and the other not knowing and being a lil pushy (I dunno why but that SPECIFICALLY weirdly puts me off 🫠)
-> Anything weirdly fetishy (any excrement, urine, vomit, etc. There are freaks that I KNOW will write this stuff)
-> Anything with a self/oc insert

It sounds pretty interesting, and recently I’ve been awful tempted to purchase it…but I’ve also heard a LOT of mixed opinions about this series.

Has anyone read this series (or atleast the first book)? If so then what did you think of it? What aspects did you love? What aspects did you think it lacked or butchered? Do you think it’s worth getting in the end?

I want some straight honest opinions since I don’t want to needlessly spend money on a series that may not be super good in the end….

(And please, I don’t want any comments regarding the religious aspects of it—I’ve heard lots of religious people say they thought it was a very ‘wrong’ idea for a book…it’s not that I don’t respect that opinion, but I personally don’t care one bit, so that’s not what I’m asking about. Thank you <3).

I absolutely LOVE fantasy/horror/historical bl, but I’m really struggling to find some new reads that aren’t full of serious cheesy cliches or overdone concepts! I’d super appreciate it if anyone could recommend me some new books to check out!!

\-> The Summer Hikaru Died

And some I currently have preordered:
\-> Scorpion Deep

So in the context of LTD, I’ve noticed something I’ve come to find pretty annoying…

Miis, when it comes relationships, REALLY seem to depend on the player’s help in upkeeping it…they’re just not that autonomous, and I’ve had multiple of my Miis relationships (that I LOVED) fall through or almost fall through just because I didn’t play for a couple days. It ALWAYS happens, whether it’s dating or friendships…frankly I’m worried that if I just- left them for a year, everyone would just break up, divorce, hate eachother, and be sad and stuff…🥀🥀

And it bugs me even more because of the fact that Miis can autonomously get into arguments and stuff, no matter how good their relationship is going—so why can’t they upkeep their own relationships?? There’s 68 others of you guys, I can’t spend an hour just making sure you guys are happy and love eachother because I left for 0.2 seconds…And either way I don’t always have the time or energy to play every day…

Even the Sims 4, a game from 2014, has more autonomous characters…atleast Sims will actively upkeep their own stuff without your direct interference…

I don’t know, is it just me?? Am I just angsty and tired because it’s the middle of the night?? Or are there other people a little annoyed by this 😭😭

Edit: Okay so…according to comments, this IS just a me problem and my Miis just all hate eachother deep down…sigh, maybe I’ll try making a couple new islands to see if they all hate eachother there, because dead seriously any Mii relationship I’ve left unchecked for a while just deteriorates instantly, no matter how much I play or what personality they are—it ain’t even funny </3

BACKGROUND INFO: Me and my boyfriend have been together for about a year and a half now. And, to preface, my boyfriend is NOT A CIS MALE, he’s trans—I’m bisexual, and when we started dating he was still going by female pronouns.

Now, to begin…Recently, I’ve come to realize that I think I’m asexual. I’m not going to dig deep into that, and I don’t want anyone in the comments saying things like “oh but you’re young you may not be ace just wait and see”, no. I’m 90% positive I’m ace. That’s not what I’m here to ask about nor is it anyone here’s beeswax.

I’ve always jokingly made sexual-feeling jokes with my boyfriend—we have joking cheeky back-and-fourths all the time, we even did before we started dating. Hell, I make freaky jokes with my friends too—it’s a normal part of my humour. But now that I’ve come to realize I’m probably ace, I’ve also come to realize that those jokes and banters have probably set a certain ‘expectation’ for my boyfriend on sex and whatnot (and I swear to god YES there’s still lots of sexual stuff two bio girls can get into—nobody say otherwise, once again, that’s not the point here). That ‘expectation’ being that I’d be willing to get into sexual stuff with him.

In short, the main problems for me?: I’m probably asexual. My humour has set an expectation that sexual stuff will be a thing for me and my bf. I’m not crazy about the idea of it being a thing, nor am I comfortable with it. We’re both above the age of consent, which makes the expectations higher.

What I’m asking: How do I tell my boyfriend I’m probably ace?? And please, I want answers other than ‘just be honest’, I really struggle with proper communication and honesty (I’m autistic), so that doesn’t exactly help as much as I appreciate the effort.

Wahhhhhh I totally missed the admin abuse today because I was in the hospital and I was so excited to get a sheepducky but I couldn’t! If anyone could spare even just one sheepducky you’d have my eternal thanks and I’d genuinely be so happy I love sheepdogs so much!! I used to have one so I always try to collect sheepdog things when I can! 🫶🫶

(P.S: Almost forgot to add this in, but please don’t ask about why I was in the hospital </3, it’s both private, embarrassing, and something I’d prefer not to leave a digital footprint with 😭😭)

I’ve only just noticed it today in a scenario I’ve gotten really into—I’m about 100 messages in, and I’ve noticed multiple times now when I go back to previous messages in the conversation…things have just changed??

By “changed” I mean things along these lines:

-> Messages I’ve 110% deleted coming back (and messing up the order of messages in response)
-> Messages I’ve edited reverting to what they were originally (which messes up the bot’s memory)
-> Messages’ order getting mucked up (with or without deleted messages coming back)

I can’t think of anything else on the spot, but those are the main things. I’ve also, for whatever reason, only gotten a few generated memory cards? It generated six the first time I hit 30 messages, plus the three I wrote myself, which made nine…and it’s stayed nine all the way up until 100 messages. I check back every once and a while, and still no new ones, despite important plot points coming up?? And I can tell it’s starting to mess with the bot’s memory…

ANYWAYS, I really just want to know if there’s a cause for this (is it just that the app is getting a lot of use right now??), or if anyone else is experiencing the same thing

(For further info: I’m a free user using Ophelia for this particular scenario. It’s my first time using Ophelia, as a fairly new user, so is this like- a known issue??)
