Hello, I am really struggling with my capsule art. The first 2D hand draw capsule I released initially had the most wishlists overall, but I got some feedback that said it didn't stand out and didn't really show what the game was about - which I agree with! Since then, I've tried a few other options, but the wishlists have gone down, and I worry its connected! I am also not happy with any of them.
For context, I am making a Nightscape/ Nature Diorama building game. You attract and collect moths through building expansive night gardens and planting complimentary plants to the moths. A little Cloud Gardens meets Slime Rancher.
Hello, I am making a game where you make beautiful mothpunk nature dioramas. There are lots of Moths! There is a little environmental storytelling, exploring how environmental factors have effected the moth population. My plan was to add this image of the moths slowly disappearing and then go through the mechanics, in the trailer.
Do you think it's too much story for a city nocturnal-nature building game? Would it put you off thinking it might more narrative focused than minimal building/collecting focused! Or should I add more environmental storytelling potentially! XD
Spotted in South UK forest. Does anyone know what type of moth it is? I think maybe a yellow shell?
Hi everyone, I'm currently working on Moth Terra, a ~~"city"~~garden-builder for moths! A comfort-strategy with building elements, you'll combine flowers, soils and build on spaces like urban gardens, beaches, ponds, bus stops to make a space for Moths to thrive. You'll attract different moths based on the plants/flowers and soils or tiles you combine, re-wilding spaces!
We are building on the current demo, adding progression, goals and more environments/building elements but would love to hear anyone's thoughts on our concept!
If anyone wants to share pictures of moths, follow the development of the game and take part in playtesting later please join our discord: https://discord.gg/GbJw86dCg2 or follow/wishlist here: https://linktr.ee/floragames
