My boss asked me if I ever spread gossip about my coworkers.

I said “No, of course not! But you know who does…..”

I was at a coffee shop in Italy, and asked the waiter what it’s called when they pour espresso over ice cream

He couldn’t remember.

Dungeon magazine adventure guide

Ive been a big fan of Dungeon Adventures since it first came out, I still have the first 100 or so issues in boxes. It’s a great resource for old school adventures.

For the last few years I’ve been working on building a functional index of all the adventures. So far I’ve done the first 100 issues. Thats over 400 adventures for 1e, 2e, and B/X.

If there’s a lot of interest I’ll keep going. The next goal is issues 101-150 - all the 3e adventures, and coincidentally the last physical magazines.

This guide lets you filter/search by:

* Issue number
* title
* author
* game edition
* game world setting
* number of players
* player level
* total levels
* setting types (city/dungeon/forest/underdark/waterborne/etc)

Plus a short synopsis about the adventure, new monsters, and new magic items.
Let me know if there’s any interest or additional info that you might like to see.

Also included in the other tabs are similar guides for Dragon magazine, Polyhedron, and White Dwarf. (Still not complete though)

Voters to decide the fate of Missouri’s income tax Tuesday — here’s what it would mean

The bottom line: if amendment 5 passes, sales taxes would have to increase to 16% to keep the same level of funding coming in.

I finally found them! Strawberry Cheesecake

The nearest Kroger store is well over an hour away, and never has them in stock. But there’s another one only 25 minutes from my office. I checked the app this morning and saw they had them, so I ran out during my lunch hour and grabbed the last four boxes. (Sorry to anyone else near Troy Missouri looking for them)

Overall, I’m very satisfied. Great frosting coverage. The crust is darker and more flavor than your standard crust, more like a graham cracker type. Taste? Very nice! You get a full blast of strawberry with a nice side of cheese. Could use a bit more cheese perhaps. Like many previous reviewers noted they are a bit dry. So have a cup of coffee or milk on the side.

Worth the trip, and I’m glad I got four boxes. But they’re not cracking the all time top ten.

Baskin Robbins - St Louis, MO

The BR used to be in a much smaller space across the street. Now they have a lot more room and a drive thru

D&D LCD game, 1981

I got this back in the early 80s, I was a huge D&D addict at the time. Finally found it in my basement. Put some new batteries in, works good as new! Highly addictive too.

Sci Fi short story about first contact with aliens, from 70s or earlier.

I read this back in the early 80s, and I’m almost certain it was included in the big primer book we used for grade school English in 5th or 6th grade.

The basic story… a small human ship, carrying maybe 3-4 people, encounters a crashed alien ship on a remote planet or asteroid. The captain goes out to inspect the ruins, and discovers two aliens are still alive. He realizes they are running low on air and won’t survive, but his own ship doesn’t have space to take them both. So he gives them his watch/device that will lead them back to his ship, basically giving up his life so these two aliens will survive. Another part that stuck in my brain was the aliens “praying” over the body of their dead comrade before they leave.
